We got a STEAL on our wedding bands... both for $700 bucks, because Romano's was having a great sale. They were so helpful and friendly and we couldn't believe the price they quoted us on the rings we wanted.

I bought my wedding invitations and Thank You cards at Target... what a life saver. They were so simple and beautiful... and CHEAP! Sort of a pain the ass to align correctly with the printer, but really great once we figured it out. For those who think it's silly to spend hundreds and hundreds of bucks on invites... get yourself to Target.

You will never meet a cuter couple than Paul and Irene. They run a little German bakery in Huntington Beach and they are amazing. Our cake was beautiful and delicious. Everyone loved it! Wonderful and reasonably priced as well. We got a three-tiered cake that fed 75 people for under $200.00.

I LOVE Vinnie and Ronnie!!! Vinnie has been doing my hair since I moved to Long Beach a couple years ago and has never let me down. For my wedding do, she suggested that I use Ronnie and he hooked me up with amazing finger waves. My mom also got her hair and make-up done at Atlantic Studio and was really happy with the outcome.

What a great local spot. Bill's is a family-run tuxedo rental shop in Long Beach that hooked my husband and our ring-bearers up with some sweet threads for a reasonable cost. And they were so nice!

Belle was a life-saver. Because they were going out of business in the months that I was planning for our wedding, I was able to pick up all the odds and ends (shoes, hair piece, kids' tuxedos, etc.) at a fraction of the original cost. Sorry ladies... they are no more.

Michael is an absolutely brilliant photographer... gifted, artistic, kind, professional and somehow knows how to capture the true emotion of the day in his photos. I am so happy with the finished product. He's wonderful.

Two words... SAMPLE SALE! The Wedding Day in Fountain Valley ran regular sample sales every Tuesday and Thursday, throughout the summer. I found a stunning Jim Hjelm gown that originally sold for $3400.00, for 300! Amazing. And the sales woman who helped me was a total doll.

Wow. Why spend a ridiculous amount of money on a ceremony site when you can get married in a city Park as gorgeous as this, for less than $200. Although the day was incredibly windy, it was stunning. I loved having my ceremony at the Korean Friendship Bell.

We had a really good experience having our reception at Gazzella in Long Beach. the venue is unique and gorgeous and the food is delicious. My only complaint is that Fred, the owner is quite stingy about his prices for drinks (even charging full-price for soda with no refills), yet at such an overall reasonable rate, I have little to whine about. It was a great spot and one of the least expensive ways to have a reception.
