I am going to get my save-the-dates from VistaPrint.com. We are doing 4x6 magnets and you can follow one of their formats or make something up yourself. Also, there is a 50% coupon at www.coupincabin.com so 500 magnets is going to end up costing us only about $125!!

I subscribed to this magazine and I absoluted love it!! Despite the whole jail thing, Martha really does have good taste and good ideas. Most of the design ideas have come from this magazine. The only thing left now is to figure out the time to do all the DIY's I want to do!

Well, I can't tell you too much about it since we haven't gone yet. BUT the room was drastically discounted (we saved $10,000 !!!) and everything so far has been great. I talked to a representative on the phone and he was really helpful. Also, everyone I have talked to about Sandals says that they are a great resort and that "all-inclusive" really does mean it. My planner went to Sandals St. Lucia for her honeymoon and said that it was one of the most beautiful places she had ever been, and they went back for their 5 year anniversary so it must have been good!

Sara Renee is an up and coming photographer. I met her in college and this year she is finishing her degree in photography. She is fantastic! Billy, the woman who runs Bradley Rentals, is really nice in person but really unorganized. I met with her MONTHS ago for what I needed and she was supposed to give me a quote and never did. She told my planner that she left me a message, but I definitely did not get one. Then my planner was trying to get an estimate before our meeting and Billy said she would call her before then and STILL hasn't called back.
I know that my family has used Bradley Rental in the past and it has worked out okay, but it was more for last-minute things. For my wedding I am obviously trying to plan ahead. More than anything else, I need the quote so I can budget other things and this hold up is getting me really behind.
We may still use them because they are the most reliable place in Cleveland, TN (where I live) but if this goes on much longer I am going to give up and so someplace else.

These guys seem pricey but they are worth every penny. Not only do they cater, they are also the decorators, bakers, and florists. They're incredible! They are really well known in our area and really well respected. The only thing is that they are kind of set in their ways and it is hard to get them to do something different. Hopefully though, when it comes down to it, they will do what the customer asks for.
They have been VERY nice in the meetings and they have lots of great ideas and opinions. My wedding hasn't happened yet so I can't tell you how they are on the production end, but I have seen other events that they have decorated and they're wonderful!

This place, in Cleveland TN, is not very well known but it is beautiful!! Nancy Sellers, who runs it is nice and accomodating. Also, she knows ALL the vendors in town so she can provide suggestions and works well with them. The estate has a large lake, a lake house with a big front yard, and a barn that has been renovated for receptions. It is great if you are looking for something rustic yet classic. It's the perfect southern setting!

I tried on dresses at David's and it was aweful. Seriously, just be willing to spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else. David's is like the WalMart of wedding dresses. Every other girl in there was either pregnant or already had a kid in there.
My best friend bought her wedding dress there a couple of years ago and it has gone WAY down hill since then. I tried on some of the "designer" dresses, and on one the beads fell off when I started walking! I bought a BEAUTIFUL dress for relatively the same price somewhere else, where the workers were actually nice and accomodating.
(Did I mention that David's lost my appointment and all the information from the first time I went in? Arrgghh... I won't keep telling horror stories, but trust me I have more!!)

I love this shop!! This shop is in Cleveland, TN my hometown. I went all over Tennessee looking for a dress and eventually ended up back here, just blocks from my apartment. The people are VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and accomodating. And it was one of the nicest stores I went in. But be sure you call ahead, because they are usually booked!
