I had a fabulous wedding at the Chart House!!! The staff was very accomodating, they took care of a lot of small details that were important to me which made my day perfect! And the 2 maitre d's were awesome. Whenever I needed one of them, they were there. And the place, the view, the food, amazing! I would definitely recommend having a wedding there or any type of event. I hope to have another event there in the future. AWESOME PLACE!

I actually really liked them a lot. I had Edwin as my photographer who was awesome! He accomodated every request that I had and my photos came out great. I got a LOT of compliments. My only complaint is that I had asked Edwin to take a couple of night shots of my husband and I on the balcony over looking the NY Skyline and they didn't really come out that great....too dark. I met with another photographer (I think it was Michael Michelle Studios) before signing with Abella and saw some samples of their night shots and they were amazing! I think it's because they used a combination of digital and film and I think the lighting in the sky has to be just right. But they were twice as expensive and then you couldn't ever get your images on CD, which was very important to me.
But overall, I was extremely happy with my pictures from Abella and my album is gorgeous! It was a little frustrating getting the rest of my order from them, b/c I think they are under-staffed in the Fairfield office, but Heather from the East Brunswick office was very helpful and I now have everything. Good Luck :)
I would not reccommend this band for a wedding. They absolutely do not care what the bride and groom want. They ask you to fill out paperwork 6 weeks before the wedding and threaten to charge you if you turn it in late, but then it's like the band members do not even get the paperwork. They do not honor your requests. I asked them to play 6 specific songs (that were important to me) and the rest mostly 80's music and they couldn't even do that. They also played the wrong song for the father/daughter dance, which is still very upsetting to this day. I even said something to them in the middle of the reception to try and turn things around for us and they still didn't listen. Also, my wedding date was a special date for 2 other people and so I asked them to make a couple of announcements (I specifically wrote it down on the paperwork)......guess what, they had no idea what I was talking about. Anyway, I was going for an elegant, classy affair and the lead singer had no class. When I heard them singing on my wedding video, they sounded terrible. I think they sounded better on the actual day, but who knows. If I could do it all over again, I would go for a DJ over Jack Goodman's Dynasty Orchestra, they are not worth the money and caused a lot of sadness for us. Everything else about my wedding was perfect, exactly how I pictured it, but the band ruined it all.
And, just to let you know....my cousin also had booked them for her wedding and she felt the same way after, that they didn't listen to what the bride and groom wanted. She specifically told them that she was concerned with communication to the band members and they assured her that it would be fine. Guess what, they didn't listen or care to do what she wanted either.
So my advice is, DO NOT USE JACK GOODMAN DYNASTY ORCHESTRA if you want to have a say in what is played. They do not listen or care about what you want.
