I booked VIP Limousine because my sister-in-law used them for her wedding and my fiance used them for a bachelor party of a friend. Both had a great experience with them and they are reasonably priced. I booked a Cadiallac Escalade for my wedding with them. Two months before the wedding they call me to tell me that the Cadillac Escalade has been "discontinued" from their fleet and I can switch to a pink Hummer instead (no thank you). They did give me a full refund and apologized. I was upset but things happen and I quickly found Luxury Limousine of Detroit (for a lower price). The reason for the anger is that one week after my wedding as I am driving down the street I see a Cadillac Escalade with "VIP Limousine" written on the side. Seems odd to me...

Luxury Limousine of Detroit (not to be confused with Luxury Limousine of Dearborn) was absolutely fantastic. They were very competatively priced, friendly and helpful. The limo was exactly what we wanted and the driver was fantastic!

President Tuxedo is very reasonably priced and always has a promotion going on. They are polite and professional. Everything was perfect for the wedding.

We went to Write Impressions for our ceremony programs. They were not the best priced but not terribly expensive. The programs turned out beautiful but the staff is not the best there. We spent an hour with a staff "new" staff employee before another staff member came over and told her she didn't need to do everything she was doing (thanks for the waste of time). Then they faxed me the proof which I approved and faxed back to them. I was told it would take 2 weeks to get the programs in. 2 weeks before the wedding they call me and leave me a less than pleasant email saying that I never faxed back the proof and that I will be lucky if I get them in time. When all was said and done I got the programs in time and they were wonderful...they just need to work on their professional skills. I am a very low maintenance person to to irritate me takes a lot. I would not recommend this place.

The staff at I Do Too! Bridal is absolutely fantastic. After dealing with so many rude bridal shops this was a breath of fresh air. They have a large coice of wedding dresses in many different styles and they treat you like you are their most important customer. I had a wonderful experience there and would recommend it to everyone!

The Bakers Loaf specializes in wedding cakes so they have wonderful designs and they were cheaper than most of the commercial places. I did a design with butter cream frosting and I got to choose the cake type and filling flavors. All the other places I looked they added cost per person for the filling. Susanne at the Bakers Load is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. The cake was absolutely perfect and delicious!

The Linen Closet is the BEST place to rent linens for you wedding reception. I went to so many places and they nickled and dimed you on everything. The Linen Closet is very well priced. They come to your venue and set up a table so you can see how the linens look in your reception room and you can choose and change your colors then. The linens were in pristine shape and looked absolutely beautiful. For half the cost the linens from The Linen Closet looked the same (if not better) as the large companies that were double the price (and not as friendly and professional).

The Southfield Marriott is absolutely beautiful and the staff is wonderful. This was a less expensive option in the area (for a hotel) but looked very expensive. The Catering Manager (Tami Lund) is absolutely fantastic. She does her job extremely well and was very helpful. We didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding because she was very trustworthy and we knew it would be exactly as we thought it would...and it was! I would recommend the Southfield Marriott to everyone I meet!

American Photographers is very professional and take wonderful pictures. Angel did out wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. He was very efficient at setting people up for pictures so the whole process went quickly. But what I really love is his ability to take beautiful and fun candid pictures. Everyone at American Photographers is very nice and wonderful.

Music Box Productions is the absolute best DJ service in Detroit. They are cometatively priced but the advantage is you get to choose your main DJ and they also send a second DJ to assist. Before you choose a DJ you can view as many video's as you want of them DJing actual weddings. This was very important to us to ensure they didn't have cheesy DJ voices and they knew how to mix. Fletcher was our DJ and he was absolutely awesome! Of all the wedding vendors I chose...this was my best choice by far!!!
