Joni Ferlet in Lake Jackson is so much fun to work with! My bridal pictures took about 2 hours, and were beautiful. The wedding pictures time started @ 12:30pm and went until @ 5pm through the reception. The pictures turned out beautiful, and we received a full photo album as well as all of the pictures on CD. She made sure we were happy with them, and if anything was wrong she would fix it for us. Nothing was wrong, of course!

This wonderful little cafe in Brazoria has the best home-cooked food in the county! For my reception, I chose to have brie, various dips, sandwiches, and their amazing array of fruit trays and displays. They were great to work with, and came in, set everything up, and even cleaned up their own mess! I wanted a punch fountain and a chocolate fondue fountain. I couldn't find either one, and the caterer took care of it all. We were short on tables and counter space , but they brought their own tables and table cloths, and made the displays so beautiful. They also made us a basket full of breakfast goodies to have while we were getting our hair done. I still go back there for breakfast and lunch sometimes!

I entered this flower shop in West Columbia not having a clue as to what I wanted in flowers. The ladies there helped me find arrangements that went perfectly with my Cornflower blue, and even helped me pick out boquet holders that a bridesmaid with only 1 fully functional hand could use with ease. I at first told her that I would do silk flowers for the rest, and wanted her to take care of only the real flowers. Well, 3 weeks before the wedding, I ran to her pulling my hair out and she calmed me down and took care of all of the silk flowers and real flowers for me. She even helped me make sure I thought of everything! I go to her for all my flower needs!

I went to this Lake Jackson shop 2 weeks before the wedding as a last resort, and was happy concerning the meeting I had with the owner and excited about the design of the Bridal cake and the Groom's cake. On the day of my wedding, before the ceremony, I went to check on everything in the reception hall, my cake was different shades of white, they placed the flowers in the wrong place, and my topper was not there. The groom's cake was a red velvet cake with buttercream icing, and not the traditional cream cheese icing. The bakery was called and told about the topper, and had to be threatened with bad press in order to even consider bringing it back. The topper was placed on my cake just after we entered the reception hall (good thing it was dark when we walked in..) The cakes tasted great, but the service was not up to standard at all. There was also an $80 delivery fee for 20 miles away.

My dress as well as my bridesmaids and Groom and groomsmen purchased attire here. The service at this small Angleton shoppe is unbeatable, and they remember your name when you come back. My dress, veil, and headpiece add up to @ $800.00 and my bridesmaids dresses (Alfred Angelo seperates) were @ $130.00 each with tax. My husband bought his tux for @ 650.00. The groomsmen rented theirs for @ $130.00. Alterations are done in the store, and are cheap and expertly done.
Shoes were purchased at Famous Footware (Xappeal brand) for @ $20

What an entertaining night! The crowds were huge, but with the drinks and dance floor, it was worth it! I think my bridesmaids spent $100 for 2 tables and complementary Champgane (not good).
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in the Galleria area, and everything was great! Room service is awesome (kinda pricy tho!)
