Wal-Mart offer a lot of options for creating your own wedding cake; books and all the apparatus required. It takes a lot of practice though so is not for someone who doesn't like to bake, or eat the results ;)

Alan is an old-school photographer but that is not a bad thing. He is very professional and extremely talented, he offers many kinds of packages and meets with you beforehand to talk through your options.

You may not think of Costco when you're planning your honeymoon but they have all kinds of packages that could suit your ideas and provide excellent value, often with free extras thrown in.

Another great option for a DIY favor is the celebrate line from Martha Stewart. There are several colors to fit your scheme and different styles (boxes, sachets) depending what your favors will be. Excellent value and style.

The Holy Ghost is a 100 year old Church in Basingstoke. It's behind the train station so provides easy access although there is no parking at the Church there is plenty at the train station. It's a really beautiful Church and if you are Catholic would make an excellent place to have your wedding.

Craig is an excellent jeweler and made my engagement ring, as a one of a kind, for far cheaper than Jared or anywhere else would have done. He is also an expert engraver and I couldn't praise his skills higher.

I only recommend a visit to David's Bridal when they have a sale on as the rest of the time I think their dresses are overpriced. When they do have sales on the dresses provide excellent value for money but unless you really like the bra they make you wear to try dresses on GET IT ELSEWHERE, it's very overpriced for what it is. Best time to go is in the morning on a weekday if you don't want to make an appointment.

The selection (when you can find all of it, and this may require trips to several walmarts) is actually really good. I managed to pick up almost everything for decorating the venue at a fraction of the price it would cost to rent it. The invitations are well made and print very well-they don't look 'cheap', even though they are!

Really bad service and extremely unprofessional, you'd be better off elsewhere. I contacted Jasper because I had heard that he was offering his services as a photographer for free in exchange for the right to use the photos on his site and in his marketing. I thought that we had a booking but 6 weeks before my wedding he canceled on me, totally out of the blue.
