I am using the Holiday Inn South County Center for my reception. They have a great ballroom and their package includes everything you need. A cake(McArthurs), DJ(elite), food(very good), open bar (5hrs), decortations with centerpieces(mirror and candles), ice sculpture and glass ware for all the food and drinks and a champagne toast for all guests. All of this is for five hours which is more than most places. They also give you a honeymoon suite with champagne and breakfeast and a discount for your guest. They have also been very friendly. They have three packages from 38-42 dollars a person including all of the above.

I am using Tasha at the Style Station to do my hair for the wedding. She has been doing my hair since highschool and she can do anything, she is amazing and inexpensive!

I have bought many things for the wedding at the wedding store in South County off tesson ferry one of those things being my invitations. They have a HUGE selection and all of them priced very well and they give a 20% discount. I had a hard time choosing because they have so much to look at. They are also very very helpful.

I used the website the petal garden to buy all of my silk rose petals. They have just about every color you could want and they are beautiful. They look as real as they could for being silk. They are 2.99 for 100 petals which is a great price! Also, the more you buy they cheaper it gets!

I am not sure on the cost thus far but I have met with my florist once so far and she was wonderful. I would mention something that I liked or wanted and before I finished she had it in her hand. She is wonderful. I definately suggest this florist. My cousins have used them as well and they do a great job! I have also used them for prom and my family buys flowers from them for various things all the time. We are always pleased!

I am using Immaculate Conception because my church will be under construction at St. David but Immaculate Conception is a bit older and its gorgeous! I am really looking forward to getting married there. Everyone has been very nice to me thus far!

I am using McCarthurs bakery for my wedding cake. This is included in my package for my reception so I am not sure what the cost is since its included but their cake is delicious! They have great designs and they are very friendly. Most important the food is good!

I went to the Orlando Bridal Show on January 4th, 2009. This was my first show. I thought they had a big variety of booths for the show. The people were friendly and seemed to have a lot to offer. The tickets that you won for the spin the wheel had great prizes. I even won free jewerly from Vincent Jewerls. The fashion show was great as well lots of nice dresses! Overall a great experience.

Carry Klein will be my photographer for my wedding. He has already done a few of my cousins weddings and did a great job. For 2,500 you get your engagement session, unlimeted locations the day of and like 2,000 picutres from the day to view online and you will get to pick 500 proofs to keep as well as a traditional or newer type of album. Also, the day of you will have him and his assistant taking different types of pictures and they are everywhere capturing everything. He is also a knot photographer so very well known and a GREAT job! I look forward to the day!

So far I have only purchased my dress and my veil from the Bridal Shoppe which is a small bridal shoppe in Festus, MO. They were very helpful with finding the dress of my dreams. I told them what I was looking for and they pulled it right off the rack. A down side is they are not like a big bridal store so they only have a few sizes of every dress so they have to use things like clips, etc. and then measure you for your actual dress. I have been very happy with the store and the people, they are very nice and helpful and the prices are great! I plan on getting my attendants tuxedos and dresses there as well. As well as all of my alterations.
