My fiance and I just happened to be in California for another wedding the weekend prior. On a last minute whim, we decided to see if Mimi was available. Good fortune was on our side because Mimi was available and willing to help us pull something together fairly quickly. Even though our photo shoot was on Monday, and we didn't really have a chance to meet until Sunday, Mimi agreed to meet us the night before and get to know us, listen to our preferences, let us describe our vision for the perfect look. Since we did it all on a whim, we quickly realized how unprepared we really were, but Mimi helped set us up with a makeup artists and gave us a few ideas on what to expect. When we first met up with Mimi on the day of the shoot, we were a bit nervous, but once we started shooting, we realized we were in good hands. Mimi's shooting style is efficient and her instrutions/guidance is to the point without being pushy or aggressive. She really knew how to make us comfortable, put our minds at ease, and help us to relax and capture our intimacy through the lens. Mimi always has a plan and is flexible enough to adapt to changing light or weather conditions without ever missing a beat. Mimi is very determined and focus when she's at work. Mimi sent us teasers within the first two days after the shoot, and we can't wait to see the rest. The photos we have seen are magical, romantic, and fun. They are exactly what we asked Mimi to capture for us.
