I cannot say enough about Susanne. I got so many compliments for my invitation design. We incorporated elements of wheat and artichokes into the design and I think we came up with something absolutely elegant. Her communication was great, and I was always surprised at how fast she would send over drafts and proofs. She didn't print my invitations because I really wanted letterpress and she didn't provide those services. When it came around to doing programs and menus I tossed the idea of doing DIY and I asked Susanne to do them for me. Her prices are very reasonable.

Do yourself a favor and go check aylee’s bio… great ideas and tips. I had the boarding pass itself printed by Joel's at Dependable Letterpress. Very crisp work, great prices, good communication. Aylee supplied the templates for the boarding pass and the pockets. Her bio has great instructions. DH and I painstakingly assembled the pockets.

The boarding pass itself is letterpressed. Quality was excellent -- done by Joel at Dependable Letterpress. The communication was terrific. I did the perforation (on the left side) myself.

Jeff did a great job. He was great at communication, he totally followed the play list and the do-not play list. He was able to adjust during the reception very well when the dancing got a little slow. Also, we needed our first dance song to be edited , and he totally came through and did the edit for us. Major props to him for that.

I had hired Nam ages ago, and I was looking for a hair person. After a couple of not so good trials, I finally found Sarah. She does makeup also, in retrospect, it probably would have been smarter to have Sarah do my makeup and hair -- but I loved what Nam did too much. Sarah did a beautiful job. I don't have a picture of my back, unfortunately. The hair stayed in place the whole day and it didn't hurt one bit

Extremely popular on the Norcal boards – she is terrific. Nam did a phenomenal job. I'm very interested in makeup and I have to say her shading technique for the eyes are amazing. My bridesmaid, modest as she is, kept exlaiming over and over again how she has never looked this good in her life. She is a lot of fun to work with.. she showed up at 4:30 am at my hotel room, all upbeat and ready to go. Also, her responses have always been very prompt - something a bride always appreciates.

We worked with Fernando at Melons Catering. We went to a tasting and they blew us away. I probably drove Fernando crazy during the planning process changing our menu a gazillion times, but he was very patient with me. We worked out a fab menu that we are incredibly excited about. I asked for a truffled mac & cheese and it was the best mac & cheese I had in my life. One thing I really enjoyed is close to your wedding, they do another private tasting with you with your menu. This tasting, was of course, also amazing. I thought that the food on the wedding day wasn't AS good as the tasting.. but the tasting was so delicious I think it was hard to lvie up to that. Nevertheless, I had a lot of guests compliment us on the food. One thing that I could tell about Melons is that they are completely capable of running the show – albeit, I do not have any experience from them, but even if I didn’t hire a wedding planner, the staff at Melons seemed more than capable to be running the show.

Being a cake fanatic the cake was one of the most important things for me. She nailed the design I wanted exactly. SMy flavors were red velvet and lemon poppyseed. I am absolutely obsessed with red velvet, and it was always hard for me to find someone who knew how to bake it properly in terms of flavor and coloring. She did very well.. the cake was very yummy and as you can see the cake was beautiful. Its a buttercream (not fondant) with the ribbons being rolled fondant. I asked for the ribbon not to look perfect. She is incredibly talented and a sweetheart to work with.

Leah is AMAZING! She did above and beyond anything I could ask for. I was never specific of what I told her. I gave her a vague description of what I like and don't like and she translated it into something amazing. I love how she managed to fit in some purple artichokes here and there even though they weren't readily available. She used all of these wonderfully unique flowers (some I've never seen before). The bouquet wraps were absolutely gorgeous. I wish I had gotten a good picture of them.. but she had used feathers. Everybody raved and raved about the florals.

Beautiful site, low prices. A major con is that because it is a regional park, there are rules and red tape that you will have to deal with. You must choose caterers from a preferred list and the time frame is a bit tight unless you are renting for the whole day.
