Aly Medina with La Luz Photography is the best Seattle-area photographer I know of! She has only been professional for a few years, but looking at her work you would never dream of that being true! She is off the wall creating moments that can't be captured in any other way. She is daring, upbeat and is so easy to talk to that within minutes you feel as if your best friend is taking photos for you!! On our wedding day we also got to be shot by her husband, Ben, so when we got our proofs back we had a variety of different angles, styles and shots that choosing was incredibly difficult! I recommend her hands down to anyone who truly wants the best photo's from their wedding day -- and it only took 6 months (from wedding day) to get our photo albums back... and within a week after the wedding we were able to view our proof's! So many other photographers take months at that!!! I know that when we decide to grow our family... she will be there to help capture the memories!!

I found Laura (www.floralaura.com) after my nail technician at my spa had a client who used her. After going to one high end Wallingford florist -- who quoted us nearly $5,000 for flowers!!! We decided to check out Laura and paid less than half the price -- and that included flowers for two bridesmaids, myself (the bride), boutonnierres for 8 guys, corsages for 5 girls and table flowers for 10 tables! We also were able to get wreaths and a few other accessories!! Her style is amazing for someone so young in the business, she really knows what she is doing and is someone who shows pride in every piece she does! I am so glad I went with her -- I know I will use her again for holidays & parties!

We were referred to Joel from our wedding planners. At first glance we thought "oh no, what are we getting ourselves into" but inside him he has such a wild personality, a comical side and a caring and true side. Instead of going through a traditional counseling course we decided we would just go to him when we needed to solve an issue either pre-wedding or post-wedding. His prices are very affordable and he's very flexible on what YOU want, not what HE would do. We are so thankful to have had him officiate our wedding, he will always play a special role in our relationship for marrying us. I wouldn't have it any other way and recommend him to everyone I know. He is sincere, genuine & feels like a relative so it's so comfortable being around him!

We found Tobey from Sugar Cake Studio when we were looking for custom cake designers for our wedding. Her cake flavors are all made from scratch including the frosting -- and let me tell you, they taste heavenly & fresh! We gave her a design that we wanted and were disappointed when we did see it... it wasn't exactly like the photo and looked a little sloppy. However, she did give us a discount since my husband works on the local military base (20% off!) and aside from the design it was amazing in flavor, but as for custom design I think she does better with sugar flowers than design on the cake.

I totally loved going to The Wedding Bell in Tacoma, WA right on historic 6th Ave. Kim, the shop owner, had me excited and eager to try on dresses. I spent time trying on countless dresses while others waited on me hand & foot without a worry. They had me feeling as if I were trying on dresses in the comfort of my home, yet they even helped me but on my bustier which I'd never worn before, and were always waiting aside if I needed assistance getting in or out of my dress. I even bought my accessories here!! (shoes, bustier, jewelery & more!) I loved it. If I ever need a formal dress again, I will be heading here first!

Nick & Aleah were an amazing team for us to work with. Before selecting them we had interviewed a few other wedding coordinators and felt no one stood up to the expertise, knowledge and warmth that they embrace. Their former clients had nothing but rave reviews, smooth ceremonies and a joyful time so we were more than excited to be able to work with them to create our dream evening. I know that in the future if I have another party I need planned or friends who need a planner, that I will definitely contact Nick & Aleah immediately, knowing that my event will go off without a worry in my mind. Not to mention, having them around made it feel as if they were a close friend or family member, not some strict perfectionist acting like a zombie! :)
