Of course this was the place my husband picked. But I was actually impressed- the food was good and was much more laid back than most rehearsal dinners. Everybody could just let loose and let go before the big day.

It is such a cute little place. Very homey and elegant- in an old victorian house. The stylists were fabulous and really knew what they were doing. Styles were very updated and classy like I wanted it.

I was mostly designing the invitations myself so save money. But I did need some bulk printing done, so I went to Rapit printing. I was surprised to learn they had quite a variety of invitation choices. But they did exactly what I needed and printed on the cards I provided- turned out very nice.

The hotel was beautiful. Too bad they tore it down and built a super target. The coordinator was very organized and friendly. At the time we ere finalizing everything- we were very worried about the super target tearing down the hotel earlier than we thought. But she was very good at keeping us well informed and calm. Food was good. Everything looked very classy. And plenty of room for 250 people.

I had a very good lady that helped me find a flattering dress and was very good at sticking with my budget. She made it so enjoyable for me!

The only reason I chose David's Bridal is because they are all over the U.S. and had most bridesmaids from out of state. And they do have some nice brides maid dresses that are cut to flatter. However, I would never buy a wedding dress from them. My first day of dress shipping was there, and they weren't very good at understanding what style I was looking for. Also, they kept giving me these HUGE sample dress sizes to try on when clearly I could have gone down a few sizes. I didn't understand that...

And there wedding dresses are kind of spendy, and not really very cute.

At the appointment, they were very nice. They really are good at sitting you down and understanding what kind of personality you have and what kind of people will be at your wedding. They have a very good resource of music. The DJ was excellent at my wedding and wasn't cheesy or anything. Also, she really stuck with what songs I really wanted and what songs to stay away from.

I would definitely refer them to friends. They are very dependable and also stated that they ALWAYS have back up when needed.

Overall, happy with the photos. However, the experience with the photographer was a little overwhelming. He took too long trying to get the perfect shot and went way over the time limit- and he also had 2 additional photographers to help, so not very efficient. My guests were already starting to arrive in the church during our pictures. He was a very good photographer, but that was probably the least enjoyable part of my wedding day.

When time came to put the album together the lady we had an appointment with was very rude. Before the appointment they told me to pick out a certain number of pictures that I liked best- like 30 or something. Then the lady totally redesigned the layout and told me I could pick out as many pictures as I wanted. But she failed to tell me the extra photos for the album was an additional fee of $250.00. I thought it was included in the package like it stated on their brochure.

After all that I still referred a friend to this place because the photos were good. However, when my friend called to inquire about information, they had limited their hours- no evenings or weekends to schedule an appointment. So she went with someone else.

Small business out of her home. Extremely creative and easy to work with. Very unique and has a very modern twist to her style!
