For our honeymoon, we traveled to Oahu, Hawaii. We did not use a professional travel agent. Instead, we booked our own travel itinerary through travelocity.com. It was easy and efficient. Our travel plans were clearly and accurately available to us, and we had no problems with this method.

Our hotel block was reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oakbrook Terrace. The hotel was very accomdating and helpful, answering all my questions very promptly. I did not like having to meet 80% of the contracted amount of rooms by 3 weeks before the wedding, but I guess this is a standard.

We hired Elite Chicago Limo for our wedding day transportation services. Th company was very accommodating and easy to work with. Our driver was professional and courteous. We also thought the pricing was fair and competitive.

I ordered my wedding jewelry online from Annabellagio.com and received it within 3-4 weeks. I absolutely LOVED my jewelry- it was made specifically for me! I had a gorgeous, unique, nice-quality set, and it was only $50!!

The parents of a long-time friend of mine own a Flower Shop in Indiana, and I asked them to do our flowers, to save money. They are very affordable and work with fresh, high-quality flowers. They did a beautiful job!

The seamstress at Egle's Creations did a great job and really listed to how I wanted the dress to be bustled. My only thought was that the price was 1/3 of the total cost of the dress itself ($275), so I thought that was a bit high.

Lorenzo's Formal Wear was very helpful. The groom's tuxedo was free and we received a discount on all the other guys’ tuxes as well. Our only complaints were the following: one of the groomsmen'a buttons came up at the ceremony, one of the other groomsmen had a sleeve that was not tailored correctly, and another groomsmen had a shoe fall apart at the reception.

I puchased my bridal gown from Bridal Mansion in Lisle, IL. The ladies there are fabulous and helpful! The gown selection at Bridal Mansion is beautiful and totally affordable, compared to most stores. Mine was only $800. I was very happy of all aspects of shopping and purchasing my gown from here!

Marissa Filice styled my hair for my wedding day. She happens to be my sister-in-law, but she was GREAT! We had a consultation prior to the big day and she listened to all my concerns and made sure to accomdate any changes I was looking for on the day of the wedding. On the wedding day, my hair was beautiful and exactly what I wanted!

My Bridal Shower was held at Cucina Roma in Westmont. The private room was beautiful and the staff was very nice, although I
(the bride) was carded for wine at my own shower! I suppose they take that aspect of their job very seriously. Overall, it was a lovely venue for a bridal shower.
