This is a nice place to go to get some cheaper dresses. My friend got her wedding dress here for $99! I found one I like for $140 and am using it for a back-up in case my other plans don't work out. You can shop on-line and look around. They definitely have a wide selection!

If you are going to the beach for your honeymoon, hit some of the clothing stores at the end of summer and get insane savings on sexy swimwear! Sometimes you may not be so lucky because they won't have your size in the clearance section - so have a backup plan. But I had the best luck at Wal-Mart! (go figure, and I hardly ever shop here) I went here at the end of September (I live in AZ so that is toward the end of our summer) And I got 2 complete 2-piece swimsuits for under $30. And very cute!!!! I was pleasantly surprized!

Take advantage of coupons! I know they have printable invitations here but that is not what I came for. Here I just got a lot of Linen paper (Office Depot brand 24/lb.) to use for wedding programs. I had bought a decorative rubber stamp from another store for using on my invitations and now I can also use the same stamp for the programs. The Linen paper is very soft and has a elegant feel to it. It would have normally cost me $25 to buy this paper but I had a $10 coupon - so be watching for thier adds and take advantage!!!

SAS is a discount fabric store. Sometimes it is hit or miss with these stores since they only sell what they can get. But I bought this beautiful tool fabric for my veil (4 yards that was 108 inches wide!) And I have this both delicate and huge cathedral length veil for under $10! I don't sew very much but this was not hard to make: I ran 2 parallel gathering stiches where I wanted the veil gathered. (A gathering stich is a long stitch that is not tied at the ends) Then you take one of the threads and pull it till it gathers and then run a zig-zag stich or a normal stich to secure the gather and tie knots. (practice on a scrap piece is a good idea)

Great place to go because it has it's own wedding section! Get really cheap bubble favors here (12 for $1) and also reception and reply cards (6 for $1 and includes envelope) Cute favor boxes! (8 for $1) Also pick up photo frames here! I bought my garder here too - but be careful because they run small. Also get your ring pillows here - no need to buy expensive pillows when there are perfectly cute ones at the Dollar Tree!!!!

Go to a 99 cent store that specializes in silk flowers. This is a totally wonderful place to get flowers! I was able to make my own bouquet and the bouquets of my bridesmaids (2) and a thowing bouquet, and all the corsages (2) and all the boutonniers (8) for a tiny fraction of the cost it would have taken otherwise!!!!! Some tips in picking out flowers: Try to get the ones that have some texture to the petals (the roses I got, some had viens that make them look more real). I would personnally stay away from roses with hot glue "dew drops" on them. It just doesn't always come out right. If you are getting a spray of roses, count them to make sure they are all there before you buy them.

Ok so for organza ribbon in almost any color, go here, unless you know of a discount fabric store in your area. Also, I found a beautiful rubber stamp to embelish my invitations with here! Take advantage of the coupons that come in the mail, and also the Jo-Anns in my area honors Michael's Stores coupons!!! They also have some wedding invitaton stationary as well.

I went here to get wedding invitaions that you can print yourself. You can get a whole batch of them and then decorate them to add your own style at a fraction of the cost of going through a card company. Also, you can buy rubber stamps and ink to add embellisments or ribbon as well!!!! Very economical!! (Also, take advantage of the 50% off coupons that come in the mail and save even more!!!!)
