I got my hair done for $13! It helped that I knew the beautician, but she did a great job. I was able to get appointments for me and my bridesmaids despite there being 2 other weddings in town that day. Great customer service.

This church was a great church to be married in. It does have 2 aisles, so that might prevent some individuals from liking it, but the interior is beautiful, and we were able to fit about 180 people with extra chairs and some standing. There are plenty of rooms elsewhere in the church to be used for dressing as well.

I really liked the invitations I ordered from Ann's. I also ordered matching napkins and cake envelopes. They were of great quality, and the help was very friendly. I got the "He Loves Me/She Loves Me" theme. Great!

We had a BLAST at Sandals Jamaica, Dunn's River Villagio. It was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The food was fantastic. The help wasn't quite as helpful, and we felt like that was because the tips were included in the price we'd already paid, but they were definitely tolerable. I'd love to go back every year!

The owners of the Highland House in Carrollton, KY, were pleasant to deal with but were a bit unorganized the day of. The food was an hour late coming out, and the extra food we had been charged for had not been cooked in case it was needed. I'd give them a B+.

My bridesmaids got their dresses at David's Bridal. We had a little trouble getting the dresses into the store on time. The dressed they had advertised were not necessarily available in the store, and ordering and trying on was a hassle. Beautiful dresses, though.

Howl at the Moon in Louisville, KY, is a great place to have your bachelorette party. We enjoyed the whole 4th Street scene, but the help and the environment was nothing but friendly and nice. Great music and great drinks!

Cornerstone Florist in Carrollton, KY, is fabulous for weddings. I had them do my bouquet, the wedding party, and the church flowers, as well as a few at the reception. They were just like I had asked for and were hassle-free to deal with. A++!

Do not go with Michael Heitz. We waited almost a year for photos, and only got them after much harassing. He was terrible at keeping in touch with the progress, his assistant photographer didn't show up, and he missed a lot of pictures. The pictures we have are good, but he took fewer than half of what was promised.
