I heard about JAC Photography from a friend of mine who had used them for her wedding. I really liked her pictures, so I contacted them and set up an appointment. My husband and I found Jamie and Chris to be professional and easy to talk to. Although their prices were a little higher than what we had initially budgeted for, we decided to book them for our wedding in March 2010. We liked them so much, we signed the contract and paid the deposit 9 months prior to our wedding date, because we wanted to ensure that they would be available that day.
In January 2010, we met up with JAC to take our engagement pictures and absolutely loved the way they came out. Throughout the shoot, Chris was very verbal and set up each shot before taking the picture. He gave us suggestions on how to pose, stand and made us feel really comfortable. We noticed that he focuses more on the big picture, while Jamie captures the smaller details. We liked the chemistry they had with each other and it was really important to us to have both a male and female perspective behind the lens, which is another big reason why we booked them. After seeing the engagement pictures, we assumed the wedding pictures would look equally as great. Not only that, but they made us feel like we were important: they featured our pictures on their blog, sent us a thank you card and they would respond quickly anytime we would email with questions. We felt like we didn’t have anything to worry about on our wedding day, since we had already interacted with them and they had gotten to know us and the style of pictures we were looking for.
Unfortunately, all of that changed. Less than 24 hours before the wedding, Jamie called me to let me know that Chris was out of the country and would not be able to make to our wedding. She reassured me that she had already gotten a second shooter, but we didn’t know anything about this person and she didn’t know anything about us. The fact that Chris wasn’t going to be there and that we had such short notice added a lot of stress and worry on us. We hoped for the best, but were very disappointed when we received our proofs. There are multiple pictures where people’s heads were intentionally cut off, pictures where there are random people or cars in the background, pictures where the top of my husband’s head was cut off, pictures that are off center and pictures that were taken from the same angle and same spot, so they look almost identical. They also failed to capture important moments, such as the bridal party walking back down the aisle after the ceremony was over. Overall, they look very sloppy and out of 1250 proofs, there are only a handful of ones that I would consider printing out and framing.
Although I can understand why Chris couldn’t be there, we cannot forgive the lack of customer service they provided after the wedding. I emailed JAC to let them know our disappointment with the pictures and Chris immediately responded and offered a complimentary day after shoot, which we were fine with. We set a date in June, which he then later cancelled. Throughout the following months, we’ve had to reschedule over and over again because something always seemed to come up. The thing we found most frustrating was Chris would often take 2 weeks or more to respond to an email and I always had to follow up with him, which is unacceptable in my opinion. Not only that, but during this whole time, Jamie never said one word to us or offered any type of explanation, which I found to be extremely unprofessional. I was always very cordial in my emails and remained pleasant, although I was heartbroken that our wedding pictures looked horrible.
I eventually had to seek legal advice and send JAC a demand letter after months of going back and forth and their lack of treating us as a priority. Our wedding pictures were never featured on their blog and they made us feel as if we didn't matter anymore. They did give us a partial refund after receiving the letter, but that doesn’t change the fact that we can never go back and recapture those moments. After close to a year had gone by, my husband and I decided to forget the day after shoot. We never emailed Chris to cancel and he never bothered to follow up with us either.
I thought a lot about whether or not I should post this review, but I know that reviews really helped me when I was searching for vendors. Unfortunately I could never recommend them, based off the disappointing experience we had with them.

Kelly and her team were amazing! I booked her first for a trial and loved the results. She listened to what I had to say, but made suggestions as well on what she thought would look good.
On the big day, Kelly and Jenny showed up on time (5:30am!) and they did a wonderful job for me and my bridesmaids. They were professional, easy to talk to and helped me to not feel so nervous about everything. Everyone was happy with the end results and I received so many compliments on my hair and make up. Kelly is very skilled at what she does and knows a lot about make up and what will look flattering on each individual.
She also packed a touch up kit which came in handy. About 2 weeks after the wedding, I also received a thank you card and a note pad, which I thought was really sweet. I would definitely book her again if I ever need to get hair and make up done. I highly recommend her to any brides in Southern California :)
Brian Lee from Elevated Pulse was great to work with throughout the whole process. He accommodated all of our wants and needs, as well as giving us advice and feedback. He was always professional and responded to my emails in a timely manner. He’s also very knowledgeable about different genres of music and made suggestions to us, based off what he thought we would like. He went over every detail with us during the final meeting and we left feeling like we were in good hands.
On the wedding day, he showed up early to set up just as we had discussed. One of my favorite things about Brian was that he had great communication – he would ask if we were ready before announcing any of the events at the reception and constantly checked in with me, to see if I was okay or if I needed anything. He made sure we were having fun and was very attentive and available to answer any questions we had. I felt like he truly listened and followed through as planned. Overall, he did a wonderful job at our wedding and we had multiple guests compliment us on our DJ.
His pricing is also very reasonable and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that is looking for a DJ in Southern California!

I worked with Leanna from Bella Blooms and am so happy we chose her to do the flowers for our wedding. I contacted her via email and received a prompt response. We set up a meeting, went to her office and discussed what we had in mind and she provided us with a very detailed proposal. I chose all premium flowers (roses, cymbidium orchids, mini calla lillies and stargazers) but her prices were still very reasonable compared to other florists we had met with. Leanna was very cooperative and helpful when I had some last minute changes and always answered any questions very promptly. She worked with me and found ways to make what I want fit within my budget.
On the day of the wedding, she showed up on time and made everything look beautiful! I was blown away when I saw the venue and how she had set everything up. From the centerpieces, to the arch to our bouquets, everything looked wonderful and you can tell she put a lot of heart into making everything. The flowers on the cake were exactly what I had requested and looked very elegant. We received many compliments on the flowers from our family and friends.
I would HIGHLY recommend Leanna to anyone who is looking for a florist in Southern California. She is talented, professional and extremely easy to work with.
I discovered Taylor's Paperie on Etsy. I ordered several sample wedding invitations from various Etsy sellers, but the quality of Taylor's invite stood out from the rest.
From the beginning, she has been extremely professional, organized and detailed. She was always very quick to respond any time I had a question about the invitations or programs we ordered from her. She also provided wonderful suggestions and additions to the text we had decided on. Taylor also takes great care in packaging her items and both the invitations and programs were shipped immediately after she was finished printing them.
The card stock she used was high quality and the colors popped as well. The prices were also very reasonable. Overall, we were absolutely thrilled with our invitations and programs and have received multiple compliments on them. Her work is beautiful and she puts a lot of effort into what she does. She was very personable, easy to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking to get wedding invitations made!

My fiance and I had a terrible experience here. The prices were high compared to other jewelers we had been to and the place felt like a swap meet. The sales people also lacked the knowledge we were looking for. One of them kept trying to push a M colored stone on us, even though that clearly wasn't what we were interested in. Very disappointing!

My fiance and I went to Liberty Diamonds after a friend referred them. They are a family owned business and I can see why they have received such great reviews. We worked mainly with Troy and Cristina, who were both extremely professional, helpful, knowledgeable and honest. We were shown numerous stones that fit our criteria and there was never any pressure to buy. Cristina was very patient with us and took the time to answer any questions we had, both in person and via email. My fiance ended up choosing a 2 carat, round brilliant on a platinum, 6 prong band and it's absolutely beautiful! I get compliments on my ring all the time. We would defintely recommend Liberty Diamonds to anyone and will be purchasing our wedding bands here as well.
