The Health and Sciences Center rents out rooms to students relatively cheap; however, the catch is that the room is very drab. The chairs and tables aren't or the finest quality. For the price though (150 is for the whole room for one whole day), the room is well worth its money. If you are a student at any university, and you are planning a cheaper wedding, ask your university if you are able to rent out a room.

Hallmark has some relatively cheap invitation that you have to fill out by hand. Since we were on a budget, Hallmark offered a good selection of cheap invitations and RSVP's. However, there's nothing fancy about Hallmark. Most of the invitations we saw came in packages and were very plain. Some invitations were sold as cheap as a dollar each. If you're on a budget, I would recommend Hallmark, but if you're looking for something fancy, then Hallmark is the wrong place to find nice wedding invitations.

We didn't want to spend a lot of money buying the tuxedos, so we rented them instead. Tom's Formalwear has a good selection of colors and designs that can be incorporated into the wedding. The tuxedos can also be rented in parts, so if you already have the shirt inside or the pants, it'll cost less overall. Tom's Formalwear is, however, a small store, so there's not as much selection as a bigger store. If you're looking for a certain shade of a color, you might not be able to find it here.

Sadly, we were running on a budget, so we got our favors from Wal-Mart. We didn't have a definite theme going on, so we bought little favor boxes from Wal-Mart that cost about 12 dollars for a set of 25, and then we bought a bag of kisses and filled the boxes with kisses to remind the guests of the ever-lasting love between the bride and the groom. If you're running on a tight budget, I would recommend Wal-Mart for your wedding needs.
Dillards has an amazing selection of dresses. The bride didn't require the bridesmaid to match, so we all decided to pick out our favorite colors. The dresses we got were all floorlength ballgowns that were gorgeous. They were even on sale! Each dress was 20 dollars each. We ended up matching, however, and both got a lavender colored dress.
If you're looking for cheaper, do-it-yourself flowers, Hobby Lobby is the place to go. They always have a sale on their fake flowers, which look very real, and which make great flowers for the wedding reception. Especially if you don't want to stress about having to keep fresh flowers, fake flowers are the cheaper way to go.

The bride didn't want a traditional white cake, so she opted for two cheesecakes from the Cheesecake Factory. Though they were scrumptious, they didn't fill everyone up. They didn't look as pretty or as sophisticated as normal wedding cakes either. On top of that, the cheesecakes were extremely pricey and not worth their money in my opinion.

Studio Art takes amazing photos. However, the studio is a little on the pricey side. One of the most important things in a wedding is the memories and keepsakes, so if you are willing to spend a good amount of money on wedding photos, pick Studio Art. The black and white photos are breathtakingly mesmerizing.

The bride, my good friend, didn't want a fancy wedding ring, so she asked for a simple silver band ring instead. Zales had an incredible selection and her fiancee picked out an adorable ring that could be engraved. The ring will last for a lifetime full of memories.

David's Bridal is probably the best store to buy wedding dresses if you're on a budget. The bride was able to buy her dress at 99 dollars. The bridesmaids (me included) weren't required to buy a dress here, but the dresses were absolutely gorgeous and affordable considering the occasion. I would highly recommend the dresses here.
