Juan was affordable and wonderful to work with! He was punctual, very easy going, and best of all, captured beautiful photographs. He is a great photo journalist, as well as a portrait photographer. We could not be happier with the results and the value!

Sweet and Saucy Shop was amazing! Melody created a beautiful and delicious dessert table for our wedding that included monogrammed cookies and assorted mini desserts such as key lime pies, lemon cupcakes and passion fruit macadamia nut tarts. Then, there was the cake. It was fabulous! It was buttermilk with a lemon filling covered in a layer of buttercream and topped with fondant. She then wrapped the cake with our wedding motif using a transfer sheet. It tied in with all the other decor and looked great! Also, her sugar flowers (cymbidium orchids) were breathtaking! Loved it all!

During our search for the perfect wedding cake, my husband and I visited Torrance Bakery and were so turned off by the experience. We really wanted to find something that we liked because it was part of the hotel package and we were working on a tight budget. So, we though it would make sense economically to go with them. The flavors were good, especially some of the fruit fillings, but we just couldn't bring ourselves to order one of their traditional, uninspired cake designs.

Upon our arrival, one look around the showroom told me this was not going to be good. The walls were lined with faux cakes, incredibly over-decorated and not even well displayed (some of the tiers were crooked, etc). Then they handed us a binder and might as well have said, 'This is what we make. Pick a design'. Any of the designs with an asterisk were an additional charge not covered by our hotel package, which included any fondant. So, we showed them some of our own examples of what we liked that we had brought along. The salesperson agreed to get pricing for us, but it was over a hundred dollars just to add a bit of simple fondant trim to a buttercream cake.

That was the point where we walked out and they lost our business. They are clearly not interested in creating anything personalized. There are so many great, smaller bakeries in Los Angeles/OC that will make something just for you at a great price. Why waste your time at a place that couldn't care less unless you're willing to shell out some major cash?

My husband proposed with a fortune cookie, so we thought these would make fun favors for our wedding guests. We were very satisfied!

We ordered the traditional vanilla cookie dipped in one of three chocolates - white, milk, or dark. They were delicious! We were also able to choose up to five custom messages for inside the cookies and you could add five more for a minimal charge. They will also ship the cookies to you sorted in you want to know which message is in which cookies.

One idea my groom had was to use the cookies as escort cards (the fortune could have the guests table number). We didn't end up using the idea because we already had something else in the works, but feel free to steal it!

My husband and I had a good experience with BBJ. They have a wide selection, beautiful fabrics, and we found the exact color we were after. So, why did I give them only three stars? The only way to receive your linens is to have them shipped to the site and returned via UPS which I have no complaints about regarding convenience. The problem was that the linens were creased from being folded in the bag during shipping and they looked awful. Be prepared to either arm yourself with the steamer and spend a few hours ironing the creases out, or just live with it and hope that it's one of the details that only the bride notices.

J. Crew offers classic, flattering styles in a great array of colors for bridesmaids, plus great suits for the groom.

The only downside is that they don't carry their bridal collection in any of their stores, so your only option is to use their sizing guide and order online. They do have a consultant that you can contact who will answer questions and send you swatches. I wish that they could send you a swatch book, with all the options, instead of having to request them individually though. While we were trying to finalize our color scheme, I must have made at least three swatch requests for the bridesmaids and each time had to wait 5-7 days for them to arrive in the mail.

They really need to make the shopping process a litter easier, but their beautifully constructed garments and great colors make up for it!

I found my dress in the bridal outlet at Mon Amie. It was in perfect condition other than a broken zipper, and their alterations staff was easily able to fix it and outfit me with a dress that I loved within my budget!

While I got a bargain, I can see how this one-stop shop can quickly break the bank. The prices for accessories, alterations, and pressing the dress were very high. I spent as much on the alterations and the pressing as I did the dress.

Overall though, they have a great selection plus a helpful and friendly staff. So, if you have the money to spend or you're willing to shop off the rack, you should definitely check this place out.

Our wedding day was amazing thanks to Jesi Haack Weddings. She shared our vision from the start, created all of our breathtaking floral arrangements, and delivered truly personalized decor. She listened to all of our ideas, put us in contact with fabulous vendors, and flawlessly managed our rehearsal and our entire wedding day. Jesi and her team took care of every last detail and let us simply enjoy our day.

One of my favorite moments was when it came time to cut the cake. After my husband and I sliced into our delicious dessert, the piece of cake started to tip over. We weren't prepared with a plate, but Jesi swooped in and saved the day, catching it just in time! A wedding day is truly overwhelming for any couple, and even for the most organized of people, it is difficult to remember all the details - like a plate for the cake!

Jesi is organized, budget conscious, and a truly creative individual who will help you create the wedding day of your dreams. In order to have a day that really reflects you as a couple and to truly be able to enjoy it, we highly recommend Jesi Haack Weddings.
