We really wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast on our wedding night and this looked like the best option in the area. They were reasonable and we were able to check in early because of the wedding. When they found out it was for our wedding night, they said there was going to be a bachelor party there the same night and for no charge upgraded us to the largest suite on the opposite side of the house. Everything was absolutely wonderful. There was a fireplace and whirlpool tub in our suite. Breakfast was brought right up to our room and was waiting outside the door. It was a lovely place and I would recommend it for a unique wedding night experience that beats a hotel!


 We wanted a very casual laid back atmosphere and Holiday’s worked nice for that. We had met with them twice to discuss the evening and how it would work and we were able to book the entire upstairs. However, they led us to believe that we would also have the outside patio and come the day of, there were several other people outside. They had lost our reservation for the upstairs so they had to last minute get people out of there. Then people were coming in and out from the outside patio and we were nervous that their drink orders would be put on our tab. They are next door to Stuc’s pizza, so we were able to order pizza from there and dine at holiday’s. It’s a nice casual relaxed place, but they weren’t quite on the ball.

I would have rather had no photographer. We chose Hugh because he was the most reasonably priced for what we wanted. He works out of his home. We were able to see his work before hand. It seemed like the second we indicated that we wanted the cheapest package he wasn’t entirely interested anymore. We called to meet with him before the wedding and he couldn’t understand why we wanted to. We wanted to make sure he knew what shots we were looking for (because we were only allowed 75) and what time we wanted him to be at the church. He took no initiative to pose anyone or make sure things were neat and in place. Several photos we had to ask him to crop things out and edit because he was careless and didn’t take the time to pose people or move things out of the way so they wouldn’t be in the shot. He was not creative and used basically one background and didn’t move us around. I pretty much had to take charge and say ok lets do this and this. When we finally got the photos, we were disappointed because when he edited the photos, many of them he had changed and the colors of the dresses all became skewed so the colors were not accurate in any regards. There were also three or four photos that were completely unusable because he did not wait for everyone to get into position and they are not looking at the camera. I was very disappointed as it seemed as though he was not very interested or enthusiastic about what he was doing. I have much better photos simply taken by family members. If you are picky on details and accuracy, I would NOT recommend him, even though his prices are lower, it is not worth it.

We went here basically by default because they have colors that match David’s Bridal. They had a wide selection of tux’s at average prices. As with David’s Bridal, it was very nice to put in the computer specifically what we wanted, then the men could go to any location convenient for them to pick up and try on the tux. The groom’s tux was free which was very nice as well!

Marlene’s was by far the cheapest place I found for invitations, and they had a large selection as well. There were many many books to go through so I asked if they could point me in the direction of a specific style I was looking for and they had a list referencing which books had specific designs. I thought that was very helpful. Much of the staff has worked there for years and are very friendly and helpful. Invites came in to my exact specifications in a very reasonable time and I had no issues whatsoever. I would recommend Marlene’s for their great service, prices, and variety.

We are not picky when it comes to an all inclusive vacation. We though this resort was very lovely and had many nice amenities. It was brand new. There was a sports bar, many restaurants, and very friendly staff. We were always able to find a chair out by the pool but you had to get to the beach very early to get a spot. Many different food options so it’s a great place to go if you are a picky eater. They had on site “travel guides” to book excursions and busses picked you up from the resort. They also had airport shuttle service so we didn’t need to drive once the entire time there.

I am very picky and was uncertain how to wear my hair. I was able to go in for a trial run with my veil and tiara. I told her what I was thinking and she did a beautiful job. She also did some of the bridesmaids as well. I didn’t have any issues during the day with my tiara coming out or my hair losing its curl. Very friendly staff and were average priced for wedding hairstyles.

JoEllen is a florist that used to work for a company and now works on her own out of her home so prices are very reasonable as there is no overhead. She was nothing short of amazing for what she all included at such a reasonable price. She even had jars, etc for us to rent for our centerpieces. We were able to meet with her before hand and give specifics. For the price we paid, we had the flowers all hand delivered the day of the wedding, AND they stayed to make sure the flowers were all pinned on and to distribute the flowers so I didn’t need to. This was a HUGE help the day of the wedding. She is very personable and I would recommend her to anybody as well!

Excellent DJ!!! Kevin was a fun upbeat guy and extremely reasonable. We chose him based mostly on price, but were nothing less than thrilled with his job performance. We were able to meet with him before time to square away specific details of how we wanted things done. He gave suggestions but also thought it was great when we wanted specific things done a specific way. He played requests and music from a number of genres that everyone could enjoy. Definitely would recommend him!

They were just completing their Freshman year so were obviously quite reasonable. They were a little unexperienced however maintained a very professional image. They had a nice selection of wedding music and we were able to hear them before hand. We couldn’t hear them real well during the ceremony, but I believe it was more where they were positioned at the location and not them themselves. The “lead” member always maintained good contact with me and was very professional for high school aged performers.
