Rather than have a regular guest book, we bought 2 polaroid cameras and lots of film. We then put the cameras on a table with a big photo album, the kind you can put the pictures into. We then had our guests take pictures of themselves and write us small messages. We took into consideration that some people would take more than one picture (even a nice note asking people to limit themselves to one won’t help), so we stocked up on film accordingly. It was actually the nicest memory of the party, because we now have pictures of everyone. These cameras are still in stock, and very durable.

I like expedia, but I have been noticing lately that they really charge more for insurance (like cancellation fees in case of sickness). It made us worry so we bought to be safe. Buying the extra insurance did make the cost of our trip more expensive, but overall the shopping experience was very easy. We just did a few searched on package deals until we found one in our budget and for the destination we wanted. It was cheaper to get hotel and flight, which is what we did. We could have found cheaper hotels, but it’s nice knowing that we stayed in a 5 star hotel but only paid 3 star fees.

The name sounds really unreliable, but they were really the best! Good Times is a business that takes care of the entertainment side of weddings, like DJs and transportation. We already had DJs, and we were looking for good chauffeurs, and they came highly recommended. I think this was the fun part of the wedding! We only needed transportation from my parent’s house to the church to the hotel, but it was nice to arrive in a fancy black sedan. My husband chose to have a van (I think they called it the party van, it looked like a fancy mini bus) drive him and his friends around. The prices were good, the staff is really great! If we hadn’t have reserved our DJ already, we probably would have gone with Good Times just because they are such a fun and funny group.

I really loved this part of my wedding preparation. We had all the paper parts of our wedding taken care of here, from save the date cards to invitations, and to seating cards. I thought this was the most amazing store I have ever been into in Milwaukee! The owner has so many good ideas. I attended one of her workshops, which gave me lots of good ideas. I liked buying my cards from Broadway because it was supporting the local business sector: I knew I could buy cards online, but I like to invest my money into Milwaukee when I can. Also, you get so many ideas when walking through the door. I would have loved to have gotten my gift boxes from here, too, but I thought that it would have been a shame to see them (or think of them) being thrown out after the party.

It’s a shame if you live in the Milwaukee area and have never been to the Bavarian Inn before. I went here with my husband several years ago, and it was hilarious! I had so much fun here! There is a huge outdoor beer garden, and then the plates that they serve are huge and really, really delicious! This place accommodates big groups, though we have gone here a few times with just the two of us. For the rehearsal dinner, which was held on a Thursday night, we were able to reserve a table for twenty people without any problems. The servers were really busy making sure that everyone had drinks and water, and our food came out fast and hot. It’s a great place for a toast, too. I really recommend going on a Friday, too.

I was happy that he wore a suit, and he looked great in the three-piece suit he picked out! I don’t remember all the details, but this is where all of our male friends seem to go when they need a suit for a wedding or a graduation. The fitting was okay, and on the day they picked up their suits some jackets and pants didn’t seem to fit well, or as well as the suit should have fit. That problem was quickly dealt with and resolved. I give them 5 stars because the staff is professional, and they sought to solve the problem.

I loved this hotel so much! When we booked our honeymoon, it was during the dreary month of March and we spent a few days ogling the beaches of Cancun through the internet and hoping that it would be us. We booked our tickets after a cold day, and three months later we did not regret our decision! The flight was fine, getting to the hotel was easy, and our whole stay was super relaxing and calm. If was as if their responsibility was to make sure we didn’t have to think. It is all inclusive, which was nice, and there was always fresh food and nice drinks to be had. The room was clean, and I liked it because it seemed like the average age there was 30 years old. I didn’t feel to young or to old, and I can’t wait to go back.

This was a lot of fun and a good experience for everyone involved! We set up an appointment to go in for a consultation, my bridesmaids and I, and it was a good thing we did. The hairstyle that I wanted would not work in my hair. My hair is very fine, and it had trouble staying in place. The stylist and I really had to brainstorm and come up with a new style that I liked. I really thought I was going to wear my hair up, but I ended up doing a half up and down do, which ended up looking really nice, especially with the style of dress I was wearing. I looked like a princess! On the day of the wedding, everything went smooth! There was no delays, and no one was late! And I was happy that I listened to what the stylist said and not insist upon a hairstyle that would have just fallen out.

I personally thought that this was a great hotel option for our friends coming from out of town, and even for our wedding party (everyone in my wedding party got rooms here on the night of the wedding). We were able to get a deal on the rate, but only because we booked and filled a block of more than twenty five wedding guests rooms. For our friends with kids, they loved the pool. I think it still is more pricy than staying at a Super Eight, but you’re also paying to stay in the middle of downtown. And you’re also paying to not have to drive somewhere after the party.

I wanted a big fancy wedding because I planned on getting married only once, and my husband and I have been waiting so long to get married! We picked the Hampton Inn beause it is a beautiful hotel, lots of great amenities, and an amazing looking reception room. When we stepped in there we knew that this would be a place to hold a great party! They do weddings here all the time and are super professional and helpful. We were always able to call and have our questions answered. There is a price for everything in addition, but they do have audiovisual equipment that we were able to rent, and they have a catering service that they recommend. I think the best part was that it was so central, so our guests from out of town were still able to enjoy the sights of Milwaukee.

We booked our night here, just like the rest of our guests. I think we were both so happy that so many people had traveled so far to be at our wedding that we wanted to spend the most amount of time with them. Our room was really nice, and we did get a bottle of champagne and strawberries from the front desk as a gift for our wedding. It was a typical room, with a bed and a couch and cable tv. I also noted that the décor has gotten a little trendy, or as trendy as hotels can get. I also took advantage of the pool and went for a swim the next day. There is nothing better than lounging by a pool after a long night of celebration!

I bought all my wedding gifts and favors at Wal-Mart. I knew that they had a really good wedding section, and for party favors I made little bags filled with chocolate kisses and candy covered almonds. I made 150, which took me several days and cost me maybe 70 cents apiece. It was a fun project! They were cute, and people liked them. I think it’s more of a gesture than anything, and our follow up plan was to send a thank you card with a picture of us on our wedding day.
