I loved my experience there! (we went to the Walnut Creek store) We went on a weekend and boy were they busy!! They gave us cold bottles of water and hot, fresh baked cookies. We decided to go to lunch and come back. We ended up returning around 4pm. They had a HUGE selection, and two sales people were helping us. Brian helped with the mens band and Harold with my band. Bother were very helpful! Well, to make a long story short, we found our selves talking with our sales people forever, and we were the last ones in the store. Come to find out, they closed at 5pm...it was 6:30pm. (I'm pretty picky! FI hates it!lol) They stayed to help us, didn't complain or push us out! Soo glad we went there!

Well, I called this caterer panicking because mine bailed on me (even though we had plenty of time to find one.) I left two messages and never received a call back. I called for a third time and spoke to a very nice young lady. I explained to her that our budget was $8000 for 100 guests. Three weeks later, I received the proposal. $10,000!!! Needless to say, that was a no-go.
I didn't even think I needed a DOC, but once I realized all the little details involved in the setup and coordination, I called A Beautiful Affair (and other coordinators. She responded soo quickly! I was very impressed with her! As it gets closer to the wedding, I start to panic more! I'm not all that into planning, and this wedding is giving me a heart attack! So my fiance and I decided it would be worth it to upgrade to her partial coordination service. Our wedding is in August, so I will update everyone soon!
