I'm the mother of the bride and resently ordered a formal dress from Bestbridalprices.com. During the ordering process it seemed that every dress I liked seemed to be out of stock or back ordered. In order to get the dress I liked and in a timely fashion, I was required to pay for a rush order. When I received the dress, it was NOT the same color as shown on the web page. I ordered a plum colored dress and received an irredescent lavender. It looked like a rush order was put on making this dress because the two buttons that are on the jacket are not even. They were placed at least 1/2 inch apart from each other and the hem of the dress is uneven. The packageing was terrible.

When I called customer service to advise them of the issue and to see what could be done, I was advised that I would have to pay the shipping cost to have the dress sent back to them for their review. If they felt it wasn't correct, they would fix the dress and then I again would be responsible to have it shipped back to me. Why wasn't this done prior to sending the dress to me? The customer service representative attempted to talk down to me when I inquired of the color. Her response was "Why didn't you order a color swatch"?

I will never order from this company again or would I recommend them to anyone. Their prices are high for what you get and they have no customer service skills. I'm stuck with a dress that needs a lot of alterations and is not the correct color. From now on, I'll purchase from companies that stand behind their products and go out of their way for their customers. Beware of companies that have strict contracts like no cancellations, refunds, or exchanges. They are only interested in your money and not your satisfaction.
