This historic hotel is gorgeous, the staff is SO helpful, the food is delicious...what more could you want? They have been nothing but accommodating to our every need--including offering to make a special recipe for us when we wanted something they didn't normally serve. The pricing is also extremely reasonable for a hotel this gorgeous--the lobby alone would be worth twice that. Tory, the wedding coordinator for the hotel, is amazingly helpful. I would highly recommend this location.

Even though this is an online jeweler, which I have to say made me a little bit nervous, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in making our choices. Most importantly, all of their gemstones are certified conflict free and their gold and platinum is socially responsibly mined. Which, to us, was a big selling point. My ring is absolutely beautiful, and I can feel great about wearing it, too.

My family has been using this local Utica tuxedo shop for YEARS and has never--I repeat, NEVER had a bad experience.

If you want slick choreography, big expensive technical elements, polished dancing, lots of costume changes, sets, lights, and singers, go see the Chippendales at the Rio in Las Vegas. If you want sweaty (and seemingly much more straight) dudes with accents pouring beer on themselves and barely dancing but looking RIDICULOUSLY hot...this is the show for you. And I am telling you, not one woman in there wasn't screaming and jumping up and down and pumping her fist in the air. These guys are fantastic.

Small selection. Nice but seemingly judgmental employees. No gown samples over size 8. VERY small collection of bridesmaid dresses.

I have to say, this was a pretty daunting place to walk into, having only been to David's Bridal and a few other, more low key kind of places. I mean, there was an entire room of dresses that cost more than $5000...yowza. But I wanted my mom and I to have the experience of shopping at a "she-she" store, even if we didn't buy anything. Then we met Rose, a diminutive woman with an unplaceable accent, who was VERY SERIOUS ABOUT DRESSES--she took one look at my body, listened to what I wanted, and said "I have ze dress you vill love" and brought me a Pronovias sample, which not only was THE dress I had always wanted, but the sample fit me (not easy to do, as I'm a size 18 in wedding gowns) AND was half off.
Miracles do happen. I'm giving them four stars for intimidation factor, but man, this lady knew what she was doing.
