Cake Creations is a family owned business in Hilliard, OH. Their prices were the most affordable in town and they worked with us on our design, giving great and enthusiastic suggestions.

David's bridal is the best place to go if you are on a budget. They have so many affordable dresses under $1000 and are very helpful, but not annoying. The assistant retrieved the dresses I asked for, but didn't nag me about buying the more expensive dresses or accessories. She made suggestions when I asked. I got my dress for only $250 and they gave a discount on my slip as well!

I needed 60 votive candles for my centerpieces and normally they cost $1 a piece for just the votives. I found them at 12 for $6 INCLUDING the candles. We also found beautiful floating candle vases for our party tables. Everyone thinks you should have to pay an arm and a leg for decorations, but by shopping at Big Lots, we found the same quality decorations at a quarter of the price! The one downfall is that if you cannot find the amount of things you are looking for, you have to go to another store. They cannot order anything for you.

I never thought it would be necessary to spend $300 on invitations that were going to be thrown away. A friend of mine works at FedEx Office and suggested that we make invitations with them. Since we were doing half of our invitations as Evites, we only needed about 50. The employee worked with us to create the look we wanted for our invitations, choosing the font, border and clip art. She was very helpful and the job was finished within two days.

Stephanie, who owns Novia, is a wonderful and artistic photographer. She is just starting out and her photos are unlike any others I've seen!

If you are on a budget and are doing DIY centerpieces and/or favors, JoAnn's is the way to go. They have everything you will need at great prices.

Weiland's Gourmet Market has the most affordable prices for a dinner buffet in Columbus. They also sell alcohol at state minimum and have excellent food! Steve, who runs the catering, worked with our budget and knows everything about food at a wedding!
