If you're looking for suits, shirts or ties to suit your colour scheme and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, I used Tip Top. The ties matched my dresses perfectly and only cost me $45 each. You can always choose the $15 tie options, that they offer, and you'll be just as happy I'm sure. After all, you only wear them once!

There are many places that you can find those bargainistic wedding favours, but walmart offers the best selection anywhere, especially in the US. The boxes we used had a lovely design on them, and a heart-shaped handle. I had the stickers ordered through weddingthings.ca with our names and stuck them on. I then ordered small jam samplers through Smuckers, and put a jar in each bag, followed by a small wrapped chocolate and filled the tops with tissue paper to match the stickers - to give the look of a gift bag. Each favour only ended up costing me $4.00 per person, but if you don't have that kind of budget, you can buy the large packs of boxes, and buy mints all at walmart and it will only cost you an average of $1.25 per person.

I would definitely recommend the Delta Town and Country Inn for brides needing something reasonable but nice and classy. They offer two rooms large enough to hold a wedding reception, ours was held in the larger of the rooms. They do offer a garden area with gazebo if you wish to have your ceremony there. They offer complimentary parking for all guests and a free room to use for the bride and groom for your wedding night. The food menus offer a great selection and you can tweak the menu however you wish to suit your needs. Their catering manager is personable and easy to deal with. The food quality is great, and the staff will set up your tables exactly the way you want. The staff were very on-guard to refill the buffet, and the drinks, etc. Watch out for the tax they add on for your DJ. There is no piano on site, so if you're looking for that extra high-class ambiance, you won't find it here, but it is a lovely site and I would definitely recommend it.

Invitingstyles.ca is a great company offering a great selection of wedding invitation packages for good prices. If you are terribly fussy about what style you're looking for, they often have a special on a certain style and you can buy it for 50% of the regular selling price. I was able to order 100 invitations, matching cards and thankyous, with all needed envelopes for a reasonable price. They looked very elegant too.

We loved every moment of our rehearsal dinner. The Copper Club in Coquitlam was a great place for food quality, privacy of a room that we used for the event, they personalized the menus for us, as well as gave us a complimentary Sunday buffet brunch for 2 (value of $52.00). The staff are personable, and they care about making sure every detail is taken care of. Absolutely amazing!

Dan Fontaine, along with his wife Stephanie, make a great team. They are great to work with, they offer great prices for their packages, and they offer a bonus for brides that most photography teams don't ......a hair and makeup special for the bride and the bridesmaids if you choose to go with them. Dan does a lovely job taking the pics that are needed as well as a few extras and fun shots so you can see what the moment was REALLY like. I enjoyed working with Dan and Steph, but you will need to be patient and not in a big hurry for your pictures, as they are busy! They do their best, but you will need to give them time. I would definitely recommend them.

I used Imagine That Events for my reception decorating. They did a great job with meeting with me and communicating to find out what I wanted. The only challenge I had was continued communication after I paid the initial deposit to them, the manager seemed to continue to push for what she felt was best rather than listening to what I wanted. In the end, I was happy with what they did, and they were not difficult to deal with, but I would be honest in saying that were I to need a decorator again, I would likely look at an alternative.

All I can say is WOW! Loban's knows how to do flowers so beautifully, and for such an amazing low price - you can purchase packages that will include several bouquets, bouteniers and corsages for such a great price and to add to the package is reasonable as well. Loban's offers an awesome selection of flower types, sizes and colours and they will deliver to make your life easier -for a small charge. I would definitely use them again if I needed to.

I chose Irina Couture for my bridesmaids dresses, because not only were the prices reasonable, but Irina offers such a great variety of styles in about 60 colour choices. You can customize the dresses, and the alterations were very inexpensive. Irina does all her own alterations, and it's a one-stop shop for brides as well, as Irina offers bridal gowns too! You can also purchase any amount of assecories through her. She was very helpful as well in making suggestions. I would highly recommend her store to anyone.

This wonderful dollar-saving wedding supply store also carries bridal gowns that are either last year's stock, or a bridal store has gone out - they are a liquidation place for the wedding industry and will save you mega bucks! The gowns are shown with their original selling price and then Action's price, and my gown was regular $1680.00 and I paid $642.00 with taxes for it. The alterations are separate, but the store offers the services of two seamstresses that will do your alterations for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend if you are looking to save money on your dress for your big day, you check these guys out!
