Lesley is actually located outside of Toronto, Canada in a town called Oakville. She designed and made a dress specifically for me, a unique, one of a kind. She is an amazing talent who truly understood me and what I wanted in my wedding dress. MY family loved going in for the fittings as Lesley made the experience so warm and friendly. She is truly talented and would be worth the trip north of the border to get her kind of service!

We did a candy buffet so we actually used lots of Vendors. M and Ms were great and easy to work with and we could get the colors we wanted! One thing we found is that there are some bulk candy companies online who are fraudulent, so be careful!

Even though we live in Chicago, Travis surprised me with an engagement ring made at Childress in Greenville, being it is my all time favorite jewelry store! The service is awesome, as through the engagement ring process, Travis dealt with the owner, Karen Childress. Their work is amazing. It was a simple choice when we went to order our wedding bands. Travis was very picky as to what he wanted and Childress made it happen!

I went with a very simple black dress from the Ann Taylor Celebrations collection. We accented it with a watermelon pink sash. The girls all looked great and they can truly wear the dress again. The ONLY issue is that I was told by Ann Taylor that this style of dress would never be discontinued...well, I was told wrong, which left us scrambling to get the correct sizes. The good news was that the 200 dollar dresses were bought for between 30-70 dollars, making it very nice for the girls! If you go with Ann Taylor, have everyone go immediately after making your choice!

Being my dad works for Michelin, we thought this would be a great place to have the rehearsal dinner. They clear out the retail space and you can put tables and chairs and whatever in the store to host your event! The decor is very modern and very Michelin! We wanted the dinner to be casual and a place where we could bring our food in (we did good old Southern bbq). The place was great. They have a place where you can display a slideshow. Our only complaint was that at times they were a little difficult to work with, probably the result of the store being new and them not hosting alot of events. Overall it was a great location for our guests who were all staying downtown!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was the best wedding cake that I have ever tasted! It was so moist and delicious and the design was exactly what we wanted. People have not stopped talking about the cake. We went with the red velvet as one of our layers and everyone wanted a piece of that layer-we should have done the whole cake red velvet! It was wonderful as Susan did a buttercream frosting with very intricate detailing with a fondant bow going down the entire side of the cake!

We cannot say enough about the Westin Poinsett Hotel in Greenville, SC. They did an amazing job throughout our wedding weekend, culminating in an amazing reception! The staff was wonderful, the food delicious, and the place looked amazing! My suggestion would be to rent out both of their ballrooms as we did which gives you access to the veranda and mezzanine, and prevents there from being another wedding at the same time as yours which would make for a crowded event. I would also recommend taking them up on the offer to get your pictures taken on the rooftop! The Westin also has some amazing picture locations in and right around the hotel.

The band was great! They definitely kept the party going all night long. Our only complaint was that they took 2 pretty long breaks even though they were playing for less time than we originally anticipated (as dinner took longer than we thought it would). Excellent crowd interaction.

Twigs did an amazing job on our centerpieces at the reception. I had a vision that I wanted something that was traditional with a modern edge and I did not want the same centerpieces on each table. Kate at Twigs did an amazing job of combining flowers, beautiful vases and containers, and candles!

Patrick was absolutely amazing. He is truly a talented photographer who went above and beyond to make sure he captured all of the special moments of our day! I would highly recommend that you hire him if you live anywhere in the Southeast!
