They have veils, ring pillows, tiaras, jewelry (!), hair pins, guest books, blank invitation kits, bubbles, fake flower petals, and a ton of other bridal stuff. I wish I had known they had great veils for $30 before I blew $200 on one at Belle Saison. They also have 50% off all Bridal items sales. Check their website every week to see when the sales are.

Bonnie was recommended by Belle Saison Bridal. I chose her because she called me back first. I just had her sew in cups ($10 if you don't have your own) and add a French bustle ($35). She works out of her home on the north side of Austin. All hail Bonnie. She is GREAT. I highly recommend her.

A "best kept secret" in east Austin. New auditorium. Beautiful floor to ceiling windows with greenery outside. Multi cultural congregation. A lovely welcoming place to have a wedding. They have a reception hall with a full professional kitchen also.

My fiance got his grandmother's platinum ring cleaned and sized at this place. Not the best customer service (on a slow afternoon I was ignored by these girls painting their nails when I walked in to pick up my ring after it had been sized). The wedding ring and engagement ring were slightly different sizes - about 1/4" off from each other - when I had them sized to 6. I didn't understand that lack of precision in the sizing. The manager said if I wore it around and still wasn't happy, I could come back in and they'd fix it for free. That's a big waste of my time though.

Artz has a little private room in back that looks like it seats about 50 people comfortably. Pay $100 for a server. Bartender works off tips. No additional facility fee. Very laid back, kind of dingy, one bathroom stall, but I'm planning to decorate the dinge away. Handicap accessible. Private entrance separate from main restaurant entrance. Down to earth and very nice planner at Artz. It's "five stars" if you're on a budget and have a small laid back wedding.

This place is very nice if you have more than $3500 to spend on a dress. That was WAY out of my budget. I cried in the fitting room when I realized how expensive everything was. There are some good sale racks but it's hit or miss. They woman who helped us was still trying to be nice after she found I was not upper crust enough for this place, but you could tell she'd rather be helping someone who could pay. She even put up with my mother who kept taking pictures. Apparently "the designers" don't want people taking pictures of the dresses. The owners were present in the store and they were willing to cut a deal on a floor model that fit me. I slept on it and eventually decided against it, but it was very nice of them to be so accommodating.

This places really sucks if you like individual attention like I do. The service rep helps about 5 people at a time and it's a mad house. It's like a Ross or Marshall's madhouse free for all. I went on a Sunday afternoon. I'm sure that's prime busy time. But they should hire the staff to accommodate the crowd. The woman who helped me did the best she could. She looked completely strung out. I didn't buy a dress from this place.

I went to a couple of other bridal shops in austin before going to Belle Saison (my fiance's mother recommended them), but they by far provide the most excellent respectful customer service of all the places I went to. My budget for a dress was under $1000. I am giving them 4 stars and not 5 because they upsold this discount package to me that I didn't really need (notice I spent $1400 and not $1000 - the shoe and veil credit package are kind of a rip-off because the shoes are worth about 10 bucks very cheaply made and the veil way overpriced at $200 you can get them at hobby lobby for $30), but the customer service is STELLAR. I found the most beautiful dress EVER there. Briana Carr was the woman who helped me there. Highly recommend this place! Just don't get the shoe and veil package if you're on a budget and want to save money.

I am having Ron Parks do my bridal portraits because I received a gift certificate for them through the place I bought my wedding dress, Belle Saison. The man I spoke with was somewhat aloof, but since the labor's free and I'm on a budget, I'm going to go with them.

Dave is a wonderful, energetic, down to earth person who produces a stellar product and was accommodating with respect to working within our budget. He was recommended by another bride and groom at our church. He shot amazing pictures for them. I'll let you know more after the wedding. :)
