I don't question the other people's experiences, but I had a very good experience overall. I went for a trunk show of a designer I was interested in and was not steered toward the more expensive end. I bought my dress and veil there and also did my alterations there. After reading some bad reviews, I was worried they had not sized me properly. I did some research online, and it seemed like they had it right. Luckily they did, but I did need a few minor alterations. Initially I was worried about the price they quoted me, but they definitely negotiated with me. I was still scared, so I talked to some brides with similar dresses, etc. and did some other research and decided that what they had quoted me was reasonable enough. After alterations, the dress fit like a glove.

My one major complaint, however, is the degree of time I spent waiting. I spent an awful long time waiting on almost every occasion.

Wally's saved us! We were initially dealing with another vendor who ended up not providing us with what we were promised. We contacted Wally's two days before our wedding. My husband dealt with Michael, who provided us with a quote within hours. The prices were incredibly competitive (I price checked alcohol at 6 stores in the process of trying to get some actual numbers from the first vendor)and the arrangements were easily made. Our alcohol was delivered with plenty of time to spare, and our guests never knew there had been an issue. Wally's picked up the minimal alcohol that was left (The amounts they suggested were pretty much dead-on!), and we were even able to get some money back. Michael sent us an extra bottle of our champagne as a gift for my husband and me. Friendly, honest, and fast!

I have to start off by saying that many of the guests, including my aunt who does flowers for many friends' parties, said that our flowers were the best they had ever seen. Beverly went above and beyond to make our event look beautiful. She was open to suggestion and changes when we met, but I pretty much gave her artistic license because I had so much faith in her talent. The delivery, set-up, and pick-up staff were incredibly quick and did a fantastic job.

Nicole is an absolute delight! She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and had a knack for keeping all of us relaxed and chatting. Her work was absolutely beautiful but also incredibly fast. We were done ahead of schedule and everyone was happy with their final look. I got so many compliments thank to Nicole and her amazing work, plus enjoyed getting to know her.

Our white cake with Bavarian cream and raspberry filling was delicious! Not to mention, that their prices were amazing. The cake and cake stand looked beautiful, while the service was pleasant and easy. A top notch cake at bargain prices.

Be advised that there has been a change in ownership with this vendor. The previous rave reviews are based on the previous owners. I was so excited when I read the reviews. We went to every store we could think of and wrote down the prices for the alcohol so we could do a price comparison. After a great deal of time and multiple requests, Valley Bev finally gave us their prices. My husband kept asking for final quotes, including the mixers they recommended and the amounts, however, we could not get a straight answer back. My husband was told that they could match the majority of the best prices we had found, but time kept passing with no official numbers. Well, it came down to the week before the wedding and desperately we kept trying to get an answer. When we finally got one, it was that they conveniently could not match the prices. Many were significantly over the other prices we had found. It was only a few days before the wedding, and we refused to be cornered into paying their prices. We found another vendor, who emailed us a quote in 24 hours with amazing prices. They also suggested amounts and mixers (including suggesting what items we could get better prices for elsewhere), delivered, and picked up. If you deal with Valley Bev, and they don't give you answers right away-don't trust in the previous rave reviews that they will help you in the end.
