Thank the heavens for Floramor! My twin sister is in medical school so much of the planning of her wedding was assigned to various family members since she was so busy. I was given the task of selecting the florist and planning all of the decoration. I was terrified! I am not a flower person and was totally freaked at the responsibility for making it beautiful. I looked online and came across the glorious Floramor website. I did a little research and found out that they are high recommended so I called and made an appointment to meet with Laura, the owner of the company. Their showroom is adorable. We met on a Sunday morning and looked at dozens of photos and talked about all sorts of basic ideas. I found during the course of the meeting that she can do so much more than flowers. By the time we were done with about 90 minutes of meeting, we had selected the flowers, the linens, the room lighting. She made suggestions as to the photographer, videographer, DJ and hair and make up stylist. Where I was once a nervous wreck over helping my sister when I first walked in, I was now totally at ease. She is going to take over so much of it for me that I can relax. I gave her my budget and she said she could work with it....

Okay that was the background....the big day came and every single element was BEYOND perfect. When I walked into the ballroom to check on things, Laura had her staff steaming the rental table linen...WOW! The centerpieces were gorgeous. She had a Tuscan theme of fall toned flowers arranged with fresh pears and persimmons added. She added bowls of nuts and fresh herbs along the head table. She had arranged for lighting on the ceiling that perfectly matched the color of the flowers. Two of her employees delivered the bouquets to the bridal suite while the rest of them were decorating the ballroom. The bouquets were an amazing combination of dark red and burnt orange calla lilies and dahlias. GORGEOUS! The stems of the bouquets were wrapped with deep moss green ribbon. I could go on an on but in the end the only thing I can say is that my sister, Lindsay, cried and cried (in a good way) when she saw everything. I cannot thank Laura and her brilliant designers enough for making this day so special for our entire family.
