When we first decided to go with this my friend had told us that she paid $750 for a Friday. So we thought great, we will get a Friday and pay considerably less then a Saturday. So we viewed the site which is a barn redone in the inside with 2 levels with tables, and a kitchen. Its nice but can only accommodate 220.(with no dancing)
So after looking we put our name and date down, but when we got the contract it said 1200 due within 10 days of that being mailed, and then 400 due a month before our wedding. So we decided not to go with these guys because they were so expensive and crazy to expect such a huge amount right then and there.

This bakery who can customize your cake to how ever you want it looked like a great candidate for us. We wanted a vegan cake for us and a regular cake for everyone else. The first guy i talked to was wonderful, and he told me to go only through him. Though later i was met with a woman who would not let me talk to him, was really a snooty woman and was not helpful in the least. We decided NOT to go with these guys, but have heard they have good cakes.

This man is wonderful, i definitely recommend him! We told him we did not want ANY religion in our wedding and he was very happy to oblige. Reliable and a great person to have doing the ceremony.

This vendor, located in Ypsilanti Michigan. They have a lovely assortment of flowers, not big actually pretty small but i have heard that they can order in flowers that you want. I had thought about using these guys, but when i went there to buy a bouquet for a friend i was met with rudeness and impatience. They definitely judge you when you come through the door, i would only recommend them because their flowers are nice and keep for a long time. They are definitely expensive though.

This location was rated 4 stars only because it is connected to a church(not literally). We did not want to have a religious wedding, and this is on the grounds of the church. Though when you get inside you will see why we chose this location. You walk in and the way the entrance is laid out you walk in kind of diagonally towards the reception site, there is another door across the way that is the same way. When you walk through the doors you are met with a huge hall, i believe they said it can fit around 350-450 people. Anyways when you walk in; from the wall you walked in to the far back wall is a rectangular dance floor that spans wall to wall and pretty wide. Aside the dance floor are even bigger carpeted floors for tables. On the far wall where the dance floor touches is a stage that is fenced in, with colored lights aimed at the dance floor. Also above the dance floor are these big thick wood beams that house non religious stained glass mural type things. VERY Pretty. Also there is a pull out bar spot, but you cannot have a bar that sells liquor. It also comes with a bouncer essentially making sure that underage people are not getting alcohol. So the site is in Milan, Michigan.
Cost- $900, plus $400 refundable security deposit
# of guests- 350-450(there appears to be no minimum tho)
