I've booked Elaine Bell Catering for my wedding. My wedding is about six months away so I will review again after the wedding. Let me just say the food is excellent. My fiance and I are total foodies and really want the best food at our wedding. Elaine Bell Catering was really great at communicating everything and I felt comfortable and taken care of the whole time. When we went to the tasting I was beyond words for how good the food was. Elaine Bell has been in this business for a long time and is well known in the area. If your looking for a caterer in the wine country area I highly recommend them.
I registered here for one of my registries and the experience was pretty good. They gave me little cards to put in envelopes if I wanted to add them to invitations, gave me some recipes, a catalog, and a checklist. One complaint is that they entered my password wrong which we guessed all sorts of different combos till we found what they entered in. Despite having checked the info at the store it was still wrong. Good thing you can change your password once you get in or else we would have to call someone. Not too big of a deal. They give you a huge stern speech on their return policy which made me feel like I was a trying to rip them off already. Didn't appreciate that at all. Big selection just a tip to remember your getting the name brand stuff, 22 bucks for a melon baller that is not a brand name is ridiculous, you can get that cheaper at crate and barrel as long as you keep those things in mind when registering. My experience was good, as long as they got what you want!
I found my dress here at Nouvelle Vogue. There was a trunk show for Cymbelline which is from France, and I had been looking into their dresses so I decided to head on over. With future mother in law in tow we headed over after a mediocre experience at another bridal salon. I heard this store was nice, upscale and expensive. I was excited to try on gowns and the experience was great. I was early for my appointment and they still helped me out straight away. We walked through the dresses so they could get a feel for what I liked. A few minutes later dresses were being pulled over my head and we were trying on dresses!
The back room is where brides try on their dresses and you feel really comfortable and there is a lot of space.
I found the dress, the very last one I tried. What a relief! The dress is being made in France and should arrive in October. The ladies that own the shop helped me out and were really helpful. The best experience with an awesome dress, and I did almost like a Jenny Packham but no I will not pay 6k for a Jenny Packham! Which made my choice really easy. they do have a decent selection of gowns here, not tons, but they are quality over quantity. I loved the dresses I got to try on, little details and unique accents that you don't see very frequently.
Long story short, check out this shop even if you don't purchase. It really makes you learn not take any crap from other bridal shops that are rude and don't take time to help you out.

I went to Si for bridesmaid dress alterations. She is a very busy lady during wedding season and thank goodness she fit me in. My alterations for strap adjustment and tightening for my floor length dress was 38 dollars. I was so happy with that. I was the only one that went to Si out of my fellow bridesmaids and paid the least out of all of them. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and she had it done within a week. The dress was perfect and I was very happy. She is extremely organized, copies all the info you give her and gives you a copy of the quoted price and work that is going to be done on the dress. She is awesome, and I did see some beautiful bridal gowns getting worked on in her house.
