We went up North in October with another couple and went on the winery tours and to a Piano bar. We had an awesome time and a weekend away will be good for us. Obviously this time we'll go alone :)

I have taken over planning everything for our wedding. A little advice to all future brides: Don't count on your future husband to be any help with plans...unless he is the most exceptional male on the planet you will just set yourself up to be disappointed. It's just a fact of life that guys generally don't plan big events very well. Gotta love em! I am still planning things so I don't have a total cost for everything yet. But I will guess on this so far. I am trying to do things as inexpensively as I can but not "cheaply". This is each of ours 2nd wedding but the 1st "real" wedding for each of us.

I have only purchased my wedding dress here so far. They were very helpful and I found the dress I love! I will probably purchase the bridesmaids dresses and the tuxes from here also. They have a great selection to choose from. I would recommend them to everyone.

Patty has been a friend of mine for 25 yrs and she is the only person I have ever trusted to touch my hair. I have gone to other people and ended up having her fix it. So now I just wait the extra time to get in to see her and only pay once for my hair! She always knows what looks best for me and I trust her completely with my hair.

Tasha is a brand new photographer trying to make her mark in the world. She is very outgoing and willing to do the photos the way "we want". She has no specific set of photos that she does. Brandi is an independent working from her home. She does this as a hobby. She did her own wedding cake when she got married last year. I can't wait to see what she does for us :)

Nick is a local guy that does karaoke on weekends at one of our local bars. His cost is very reasonable and he's a nice guy. Based on how he handles his business, I think that he will be awesome at our reception.

We got the hall, the kitchen, cash bar w/bartender, 1 keg and we can reserve more kegs if needed. It's convenient for us because it's local for us and only 10 miles from where we live.

Tracy Hill Park is the owner of the company. She is very helpful with suggestions and ideas. I would suggest her to everyone. She is worth the $$.
