I purchased my shoes at the Manolo Blahnik boutique in New York City. I had originally planned on purchasing basic, white satin Carolyne slingbacks. However, I tried on these sparkly Luccaby sandals, and I couldn’t resist – they were quite possibly the most fabulous shoes I had ever seen! Although they were quite a splurge, I definitely plan on wearing them again!

The Rehearsal dinner was a blast! We sat out on a private terrace, and the food and wine were fantastic!! The catering manager was a little slow returning Josh’s parents’ phone calls, but the dinner still turned out wonderfully!

After trying on a few Jennifer Leigh veils, I fell in love with their simplicity and how light and sheer the tulle they use is! I ordered a 2-layer, cathedral-length veil with a detachable blusher. They were very nice, and my veil came in one month early. It was just as gorgeous as I had expected and in perfect condition!

Ulla-Maija made the dress after I had a muslin fitting, so the dress was made exactly to me! The dress came early, and the fabric was heavenly – they did a great job!

Russell and Saundra were absolutely wonderful! They were both great during the planning process and a wonderful presence at our wedding. I could not be happier with how our video turned out. It truly captured the emotions of our wedding, and my husband, family, and I were all teary-eyed when we watched it. The video is truly beautiful and artistic! They also do some amazing cinematography through Stellar Productions and (which we almost splurged for!)

I bought each bridesmaid the nugget pendant from Tiffany & Co. in Beverly Hills. The pendant was about to be discountinued, so I purchased the pendants over the phone while I was still in New York, and the store held them for me until I moved back to Los Angeles. All of the necklaces were in perfect condition, and they looked great on my beautiful bridesmaids!

I really, really wanted to hang chandeliers in the trees, but I could not find anything remotely “affordable.” I talked to Tom and Wendee who were already going to hang lights, and they managed to get 9 chandeliers to hang. They did a great job, and the chandeliers looked fantastic!

Count me in as one of the many Laura Hooper fans! She addressed our save-the-date envelopes and invitation envelopes, and the escort cards and favor tags. Laura is an absolute doll and wonderful to work with, and her work is absolute quality. I received as many compliments on the invitation envelopes as the actual invitations! The escort cards and favor tags dressed up the reception and looked great!

Despite a minor tux mix-up, our experience with Friar Tux was very smooth. They were friendly and accommodating.

Lindsay is a sorority sister of mine from college who recently started doing make-up after training with and working for MAC. Lindsay did all of the bridesmaids’ make-up and my mom’s make-up, and everyone was thrilled with her work! She is professional, calm and very, very talented.
