I would never recomend going to House of Brides in Oak Lawn. I went there and my bridesmaids oredered and paid for their dresses. (there are six bridesmaids) The store assured me about pre-paying for the dresses and that everything will go smoothly. Well about two months after ordering the dress they called and told me that the dress was discontinued and I would need to come in and pick out something else. I was furious that they took their time to call and tell me, and expected me to settle for something else when there was nothing else there I wanted. They said they were not going to refund anyone's money, but I kept calling until they decided that they were not going to get away with this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

I went to Wedding Belles to get my dress after visiting a couple other wedding shops. They give you lots of personal attention, and will keep working with you until you find the perfect dress. The prices are outstanding for the dresses that you get to choose from. I will be recommending many family members and friends to go to Wedding Belles in the future. They do a great job.
