We rented chair sashes from this vendor for our beach wedding. This vendor mainly deals with delivery items, however since she lives in the Norfolk/Va Beach area I requested to pickup the items from her location. She works out of her home, but this was not disclosed when discussing pick up. Just a heads up to anyone else, I expected a business but going to her home was just fine. Trish was wonderful, she made sure that I received the exact sashes that I wanted even when the sashes initially ordered were not available. She provided detailed pictures and descriptions. The pricing was also extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone look for chair covers or sashes in the Norfolk/Va Beach area.

The food was very good for a family owned business. I did get a little nervous when we pulled up to find Valet Only parking, but they only work for tips so it ended up not be a big deal. We were sat on a long table on the enclosed porch. I believe that everyone was very satisfied with the service, food, and ambiance. Rockefeller’s was not my first choice of Rehearsal Dinner venue but we still had a great time. I would recommend this venue.

Our guests remarked that the premises was clean, close to shops and very nice.

I believe that I found this vendor through a Google Search of Norfolk/Va Beach bakers. We ordered 5 dozen cupcakes for our guests instead of a traditional wedding cake. They were delicious and the baker was able to make each dozen a different flavor, i.e. key lime, lemon, pineapple, etc. My one complaint would be the pricing, which I believe was a little steep. The cupcakes were about $1.25 each, which is very reasonable but what I found difficult to understand was other charges, such as a decoration fee. I provided the cupcake liners to the baker and had no other decoration other than white buttercream frosting so I don’t really understand why we were charged an additional $30 for decoration when we really didn’t have any. The vendor informed me that this was an industry norm and would not be willing to forgo this charge even though I had provided my own display cake plates and cupcake liners….As I said, the cupcakes were great, but for the price, I don’t know if I would honestly sent another couplet ot his vendor or if I did, I would make sure to fight against any extra charges.

Chefs DeLong and Pearson along with the rest of their team are amazing! Everyone complimented the food. Everyone said that it was the best 'wedding' food they had ever tasted. Chef DeLong and Chef Pearson handled our guests (all 55 of them) with ease. She is great to work with and very organized. She is a true professional.

If there were a 10 star rating, I would give it to Ashly. She is amazing! B/c we were planning a destination wedding, I had to work with Ashly alot on the phone and over email, however she was very patient with me and sent me pictures of her ideas when necessary. The day before the wedding and the day of the wedding Ashly was like a blur taking care of everything and dealing with all the other vendors that were arriving at the reception site. I received numerous compliments about Ashly from several of our guests. A few guests want to use her interior design services in their own home. She is a jack of all trades that assisted with wedding planning, flower arranging and event coordination at very reasonable pricing. I highly highly recommend her to any bride in need.

We ordered tables, chairs, linens and dinnerware for our wedding. While we were happy with the tables, chairs and linens, the dinnerware (plates and bowls) were dirty and needed to be washed. When I contacted the vendor they immediately apologized and made sure to credit my invoice for the price of the dinnerware. Everything else was great, I just think they had something oily or greasy in their commercial dishwasher. I would use this vendor again. I would also tell other couples that if they want to rent from this vendor to make sure they budget at least $150 for delivery/pick up of rental items. We waited until about a week before our wedding to determine whether or not we wanted our items delivered and they were only able to drop off the items at our location, we had to drop off the items back at their warehouse.

Echard was like a ghost, which every good photographer should be. We decided when we were budgeting for the wedding that the photographer would be our largest expense b/c when all the partying is over, photos are all you have. Echard was expensive, but from what we have seen, the pictures look amazing. We picked him b/c of all the beach weddings he had done previously - so I highly suggest him to anyone however, he is pricey but not as much as many other photographers we inquired about.

We are from Hawaii and my mom brought all the flowers from local Hawaiian Vendors are listed below. All flowers were sent on 2 day FEDEX and were received on time and in excellent condition.

Rev. Kenny was so sweet, affordable and makes sure that you are ready with your vows the day of. I like the fact that she provided us with a template document where we could pick and choose exactly what we wanted to include in our ceremony. She arrived early the day of the rehersal and was very patient with us when we were running late. She made sure that everything and everyone was in their proper place for the ceremony. A very calming influence that I would highly recommend if you want some simple and elegant.
