My husband and I were originally planning on going to cabo for our honeymoon, but had to change the week before our wedding because of the swine flu outbreak. The RIU resort system easily helped us make the change to the same resort in Jamaica. The resort was beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been to. The food wasn't that awesome during the day but we never went hungry. Breakfast was good they had a large variety of food. Lunch was ok if you caught it right when the food went out and was still hot. The views were great at both as there was outside dinning available at all. Dinner was good because you got to eat at the restaurants if you had reservations. The only thing we didn't like about that is you could only eat at 7 or 9. To make reservations you had to go stand in line at 8 a.m. which was also not too fun to do on your vacation. We usually ate at 9 which was too late since we had been up all day & out on the beach we were usually starving! There were bars everywhere though and that made up for the food! There was even a stocked mini bar in our room and beer stocked every day! I would recommend this resort chain over the sandals chain.

My flowers turned out to be absolutely amazing! Helen, the owner, made great suggestions to help me with my selections. The chapel I used didn't allow candles unless they were non drip candles. She suggested that we use a different type of candle and just enclose it into a large clear vase! I loved it! My bridesmaids bouquets matched perfectly with bright pink, and orange gerbra daisies and my bouquet was amazing! Humphreys flowers has been around for a long time in chattanooga and did an amazing job.

My husbands cake turned out to be exactly what he wanted, mine however was wrong. It was the right flavor and embellishments but it was all white when it was suppose to be pink and white. I was extremely upset with this as you would imagine. My wedding planner tried to call them and no one would answer the phone as they were closed for the day! It turned out ok because no one knew anything was wrong but I was still upset. I would not recommend this place.

My make up was absolutely stunning! It wasn't too different from normal so I didn't look overdone, but it popped in the photographs. It stayed on all night even at the end while we had been dancing all night long! I even got fake eye lashes which were a great addition. You even get to do a practice run so you know how it will turn out on the day of your wedding.

This was the perfect location since it is on the 21st floor and you get a birds eye view of beautiful downtown Chattanooga. It is a very exclusive and has wonderful food. We chose to do a serving line since we had about 250 guests in attendance a sit down dinner would have been harder to pull off. I loved loved loved my reception! They are a husband and wife team which makes it awesome because they can capture pictures of both sides getting ready before the wedding. I also had my wedding videoed in HD which I would really recommend since I felt like I didn't get to see any of my wedding! They also release the rights to your pictures so you get them on a cd as well as in an album. The cd you can share with relatives and friends and they can print them off at home! This is a beautiful chapel located on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. This place books up a year in advance! It was amazing! I graduated from UTC so I received a discount in booking it is a little more pricey if you have no affiliation but well worth it. Check out some pictures at weddingphotographics.net

This is an upscale shop on the North Shore in downtown Chattanooga. I first learned about the store at a bridal show where we received a coupon. However, this coupon was not accepted on invitations only if you bought something in the store which was not told to me when I first went to order my invitations. They even asked me what brought me into the store in which I responded the coupon and was never informed of what it applied to. The owner of the store was very friendly and knew what she was doing as she helped me word my invitation. I had originally picked out a different invitation that I ordered. There was not much difference between the two I thought. The first invitation I was told would cost around $300 for 250 invitations. Imagine my surprise when I got the bill for the other invitations! I knew it would be more since we had the return address printed on each envelope but not that much more! I would recommend going to all things paper for more reasonably price invitations since people only throw them away!

This is the best new bridal shop in the Chattanooga area. It is not a far drive at all to get to the shop in cleveland. I went to every bridal shop in the area was not completely happy anywhere until I went to ever after. I made an appointment and was the only person in the shop at the time so I had all the attention I could need. The owner Kendra has a great sense for fashion and such a great attitude! Kendra was willing to go above and beyond for everything I could have wanted. My Mom also bought her dress from the store and everyone raved about how wonderful she looked at the wedding. They also have a great selection of brides maids dresses for a reasonable price. I ordered my girls dresses and the manufacturer made a mistake with the colors and Kendra had the problem immediately corrected with no stress to me at all. I would recommend every bride to take the short drive to cleveland and check this shop out!

This hotel was amazing! We stayed in one of the suites and it came up to be about $75 for each girl for 2 nights with 6 girls in each room. We ended up getting 3 rooms all next to each other. The best part about the hotel was how close it was to all of the bars. We walked everywhere! I am actually going back in a few weeks for one of my friends bachelorette parties since we had such a great time!
