Miss Tami Rae taught pole dancing lessons for me and my girlfriends during my bachelorette party last month. She is an amazing dancer, is very fun and upbeat, patient and even took professional photographs of the event! My friends and I had an amazing time on the pole, and Tami is so experienced and makes you feel very comfortable and at-ease. She has her own professional pole and can bring it to you, as long as the room is of the appropriate dimensions. It's an experience we'll never forget! She also teaches pole-dancing from beginner to advanced if you want to continue to learn. More than likely, you'll want to advance your skills!

Beautiful location for my wedding ceremony/reception/dinner! The food is amazing, and we loved the atmosphere/vibe - trendy, yet elegant and sophisticated and romantic (especially at night). It's not meant for a large gathering - I would recommend 120 guests at most, so that everyone will fit comfortably on the outdoor patio which has a very romantic ambience and you will be able to keep everyone together rather than separated. We had a lovely event here, and would consider hosting another event here, maybe for our renewal of vows, in another decade!

Friar's Tux Shop is a chain - which makes it convenient since our bridal party lives in different parts of the country. They could go to any affiliated store to get their fitting, and returns were easy since there are so many branches (we are in Los Angeles). They are also willing to waive the $20 late fee (for one day). My only gripe is that they have a limited selection of colors, and the quality is sub-par. Adequate quality for the prom but sub-par for weddings. However, their customer service is excellent, and their prices are reasonable.

Flower Genie in Temple City/San Gabriel, California did my wedding ceremony/reception flowers. The altar arrangement was beautiful, as was the table centerpieces and corsages, but the bouquets, boutonnieres and flower hairpieces were put together a little sloppy. All-in-all, the quality is average.

Alina Pizzano has a bridal boutique in Pasadena, California, near Old Town. She worked as a designer for Anne Klein and BCBG, having had the experience and knowledge to help me create the gown of my dreams. I arrived, flustered, at her boutique only 3 months before my wedding date, having tried on countless gowns at bridal shops. But they all looked like typical wedding dresses. I came to her with pictures of elements of different gowns that I liked. She and I sat down for several hours, and together designed an amazing dress in an exquisite ivory dutchess satin - soft sweetheart neckline, with rusching around the bust/waist/hip and a soft trumpet flair, which was very flattering to my petite figure. Per my request, we designed the train to be detachable (more maneuverable for dinner and dancing).

She listened to all my ideas and found ways to make it work from a technical and design perspective. I received so many compliments on my bridal gown - it was very unique and it fit me like a glove (literally). The last thing I wanted was a generic, cookie-cutter gown. Alina and her seamstress worked so many hours and were extremely patient during all the fittings, to get the dress just right. And her fees are shockingly reasonable. She specializes in gowns with simple, clean elegance. If you want to have something custom-made and find it fun being an integral part of the design process, I recommend Alina Pizzano. Susie Chhuor did hair & makeup for me and my bridal party last week for my wedding. Her work is amazing! Don't let her looks fool you. Although she looks young, she is very professional and experienced in both glamour, photo-shoot makeup as well as bridal makeup. She was at all times easily accessible by phone or email, on-time, and was very willing to work with my specific requests. She did a fabulous job in enhancing my features, and also has a lot of experience working with Asians. I received many compliments on both my hair and makeup. I highly recommend Susie!
