My husband and I didn't have a home church at the time we started planning the wedding but we are both religious and wanted to be sure to have a good minister to perform the service. Pastor Brock was helpful but also open to letting us rewrite the vows and other things like that. We met with him once to see if he fit with what we wanted and a second time closer to the wedding to finalize the ceremony outline. A few days before the wedding his office called to make sure we knew what was needed to finalize the wedding license and they took care of everything as far as sending stuff for us to get marriage certificates. The day of he was so friendly and talked to guests and people in the wedding. He checked both with me and my husband to make sure we didn't have any questions and wished us good luck. The ceremony was beautiful and a lot of guests agreed. On top of all that, the money you pay for him goes directly to a charity to send underprivileged kids to camp, the check is made directly to the organization. He just loves doing weddings.

The Good: Their cupcakes are very tastey and they have both basic flavors like chocolate and vanilla and more unusual flavors. They also have towers you can rent so you don't have to search one out yourself. And their prices are very resaonable. The Bad: They seemed totally disorganized. I felt like I never talked to the same person twice and often when I called there was no one at the store who could answer my questions and when I asked when such a person would be in, I was always promised someone would call me back which rarely happened and when it did, it was never in a timely manner. When it came time to pay the balance, the person at the store could not tell me the balance and said someone would call me back (this was two days before the wedding) by 3p no one had called me so I called again and finally 15 minutes later got the answer. On the day of my wedding when I was already a bit stressed I got two separate calls from the store. One was to ask for the address to the venue and what time they should arrive, which I had already given both pieces of information prior. And another call asking if I wanted to switch out towers. Granted neither of these questions were unreasonable but could have maybe been handled prior to the day of the wedding. Also, the cupcakes were very very late arriving. My ceremony started at 4:30 and I told the store they should be at the venue between 2p and 4p. They just barely arrived by 4. And according to my husband and others the cupcake guy came in and basically dumped the stuff with out so much as a word of apology for being so late. Before he arrived one of my bride's maids had called and the only reason that was given for the lateness was the person bringing the cupcakes was they were stuck in traffic. I know traffic is a reality in LA, but you would think a place that offers to deliever and advertises on their site as doing weddings would account for the possibility of traffic. All in all I was under welmed with their professionalism. Which is sad because their cupcakes are very tastey and all the guests enjoyed them a lot.

The Good: The musicians arrived in a timely manner and they sounded excellent. They dressed appropriately too. The Bad: They told my husband before the ceremony that they had another "gig" at 8p (our ceremoney was supposed to start at 4:30, but probably started at 4:45) and so they tried to rush the start of the ceremony even though we were still awaiting a few important guests. The booking person also told me several times that the muscians apperiated tips but they broke down and booked out of the venue so fast that I didn't have time to tip them. C'est la vie, the music was excellent.

My husband is the photography buff in the relationship and he loved what he saw on her site (as did I, but I don't know as much about photography). We met with her at her studio and she seemed so nice and up front. I liked that she had a set price even if it was more then some photographers because we knew what we were getting for the money. Our engagement pictures turned out beautiful even though my husband and I were not the type of people comfortable in front of the camera. Danielle and her assistant Suthi were awesome the day of, they backed off when I didn't want them taking pictures (like when I was trying to shimmy into my spanx) or when my husband was a bit stressed and needed to decompress. They were so nice and easy going. And during the ceremony and reception they were totally discreet. There were times when we would think they had left for the night and realize they were off in the corner taking pictures. I never felt like they were on top of us or anything. And after seeing the engagement pictures we have no doubt the wedding pictures will be unbelieveable! I hope sometime I have the extra money for a boudoir session (and the guts!) since I would love to work with Danielle again.

This location is beautiful. Everyone at our wedding complimented us on the location and many of our LA friends were amazed such a place existed in LA. We looked long and hard for a location and this place was so it. The reception hall is beautiful and you have the option to have an outdoor ceremony but the insurance of being able to have an inside ceremony should the rare bad weather hit. Roxy was awesome to work with. She has so much experience with weddings that she was able to give good advice. And listened to what we wanted for the vision of our wedding. And a big thing was she didn't make us feel like our wedding wasn't important even though it wasn't some huge wedding with millions of guests. Her and her staff really helped on the day of and made sure we knew what was going on and helped direct people. It was as if I had my own day of corrdinator which really made the day easier for me. The food was awesome and everything we hoped for. Everyone got plenty to eat and seemed to love everything. We didn't want a sit down dinner and they really accomdated us. We also go the cappachino bar which was a HUGE hit with our caffine junkie friends. The staff was so friendly and pleasant. When we were collecting our stuff to leave for the night they were wishing us well which seemed very sincere. To top it off, Roxy took pictures through out the night and toward the end handed me a CD of pictures so I could see them the next day, since we all know that professional photographs take much longer. I would recommend this location and Truly Yours to anyone who is planning a wedding. Beautiful location and wonderful people to work with.

We used Lincoln Limo's 15 passanger van as a shuttle from the hotel where a majority of out of town guests were staying to and from the venue. The Good: They don't normally do shuttle service like this but apparently someone agreed to do it for me that worked in the office and the big boss agreed to honor the agreement. They were on time both before and after and as far as I know everyone got to and from safely. The Bad: No one informed me that before they could bring anyone from the hotel to the venue someone would need to be present to give the driver a credit card number and to sign. Since my husband and I were paying for most stuff, it was my credit card they needed. Luckily after I explained to the driver over the phone I could not possibly come to the hotel as I was the one getting married, he brought the first group over, and brought the papers I needed to sign back to me to sign. I was not pleased but at least they did the job of shuttling people. And mistakes happen. The driver was very pleasant and very punctunal.
