I ordered flowers online & used them for bouquets, centerpieces, and flowers for the aisle.  I was CRAZY busy with them, but it was totally worth it!!

a fantastic seller on etsy designed the inviations for my berry themed wedding.  it was a lot of work but i really wanted them to be pretty!!  I included a web site card, RSVP card, and directions with a  map.  I also made little tags that went on the pocketfold to designate who was invited (hoping no kids owuld wanna come!!)

I bought the flower girls t-shirts at Target & AC Moore.  I used rhinestone iron-on transfers.  Here's one of the shirts

We are naming the tables after different kinds of berries, to go with the berry theme.  I ordered these luminary signs on etsy (seller is MadeForYouJustByMe).  They wrap around a LED flameless candle (I found the cheapest deal was at BJ's Wholesale).

I made strawberry jam to use as the placecards.  I made 84 4oz jars!  I made them during the latest snow storm, it was much easier than I had expected!  I still need to find cute fabric for them and to make the actual placecards for each couple.

I got a great deal on these baskets at Michaels for the bathroom baskets.  I paid about $5 for each basket after sales & coupons.

I used vellum envelopes to create these flower seed favors.  I started this project before I decided on the berry theme.  Guests will get these and the jam placecard favor.  I ordered bulk envelopes & seeds & then ordered custom stickers from maupromos on etsy.  For the "K" sticker, I used hershey kiss stickers & stamped the K.

This is a picture of the cake that I want.  My cake vendor said she could make one just like it (yay!)  :-)

Our cake flavors are:

chocolate with strawberry filling &

raspberry swirl with lemon filling

I want it to be plain and decorated with berries, as berries are our theme.

The girls are choosing any dress in lapis at David's Bridal.  Two of the girls chose this one:

Bridesmaid Gifts:

I ordered the necklace through spiffingjewelry on etsy.   They are dark purple beads on sterling silver.

Platnium colored clutches from etsy (toondesign):

I am also working on collecting personal gifts that do not match.  Gifts like books, favorite candy, private joke things, etc.

Our Engagement

We got engaged over memorial day 2009.  We went to NYC for the weekend & got engaged in central park... it was very exciting and romantic.  I was completely surprised, which is what I wanted :-) He picked out a great ring for me & we enjoyed a nice weekend together enjoying our engagment, just the two of us.  This is about where we got engaged

Our wedding is June 19, 2010 in central Pennsylvania.  I am planning a berry theme as we are getting married at the Allenberry.  I haven't found anyone else who has done a berry theme so I am trying to be creative!  So far, our cake has berry flavors & I'm planning on making jam for placecards.  Also, I'd like berries on my invitations.

My Dress

I tried on a LOT of dresses!  I wasn't expecting to be so picky but I was :-)  I found Grace by Maggie Sottero and loved it.  I never thought that I would pick a lace dress but it's perfect.  I wanted a simple A-line and I found it!  I ordered it in diamond white and with an extended train.
