"THE DJ HAWAII" Professional Entertainment Services Featuring... "Tony So"

There seriously is not one thing negative to say about Tony So. I chose him to be our DJ/Emcee for a destination wedding party of about 55 people. A total of 53 people pretty much danced there behinds off until the reception was over. The remaining 2 people were my grandparents who are both over 85 and go to bed around 8 pm. Needless to say, everyone danced and had a blast all night.

Out of all our vendors, my husband and I were most ecstatic about our DJ Tony. Since the day we booked him, he has helped us with not only our music and what to do throughout our reception, but he also gave us fabulous advice on almost all other aspects of our destination wedding. Although the wedding guest count was fairly small, we had a very eclectic group of people and we knew that good music would tie everyone together, so we knew we had to have someone good for the reception.

After e-mailing eachother for a few months, we finally met Tony for the first time after we arrived in Hawaii. He met us at our hotel and gave my husband and I a breakdown of how our wedding reception was going to play out. We talked for about an hour...(20 minutes to explain to us how the wedding was going to be played out and the rest of the time was him playing music that we couldn't stop listening to). The moment we told him what kind of music we liked for our cocktail hour/dinner/dancing, he would play a medley of sound that had my husband and I literally dancing in our chairs or saying to eachother..."I love this song, can you make sure you play it!!" After all that was said and done, we had guests come up to us and say how awesome the music was and that they haven't had such a good time in a such a long time. Those comments to us made our wedding night that much more special to us and we Thank Tony for that.

Our photographer Kyler was AWESOME!! Our wedding was held in Honolulu, HI, but since we are from California, we only went by reviews and the internet when we picked our vendors. We were a bit skeptical in the beginning since we didn't know what quite to expect, but all we can say now is that we are so happy we chose Kai photography.

Our destination wedding was held at the Ocean Crystal Wedding Chapel and our recepetion was at the Hilton's Rainbow Suites on a Friday where there happened to be fireworks that we incorporated in our wedding. Kyler and his team took awesome photos of the fireworks and were very professional. Grace, who we were emailing pre-wedding was great as well. She was very quick to respond and was pleasant to talk to over the phone.

Overall, we were very satisfied with the ease and professionalism held by Kyler and his team. Since our wedding was only about a week ago, we are still anxiously waiting to recieve our photos although Kyler did send us a lil' sneak peek at one of our pics and all my husband and I could say was ..WoW! Gorgeous photo of us at during the fireworks show.

First off, I want to mention Kelli L. for being such an AWESOME planner at Best Bridal. The moment that I booked her, she gave me ideas and helpful lil' tid bits to help me plan out my ceremony. During the wedding and rehearsal, she really took note of everything I wanted and put my plans into action. The outcome was a beautiful wedding ceremony that was exactly the way I planned it.

My only downfall were the planners that were assigned to me before Kelli. Mind you, I am from California and since I was doing the whole destination wedding thing in Hawaii, I was stressing out a bit because I didn't know what was going on or what to expect...

I booked Best Bridal about 8-9 months in advance and was given a planner who wasn't so responsive to my e-mails and would't return my phone calls. She would even forget things like how many bridesmaids/groomsmen I have (it's in wrting/contracts, is it that hard to refer back to it when responding to me?) Then, I was given another planner who was somewhat responsive, but not quite up to par for me. (FYI, I was not being a bridezilla and did not request another planner to help me at all. I simply asked basic questions via e-mail and phone, but wouldn't get responses that answered my questions in a timely manner) Eventually, Kelli stepped in and made my pre-wedding stresors vanish. All my questions via phone/e-mail were answered in a timely manner and when it came down to the Big Day, it all fell through perfectly.
