my FI is always on the computer and always on his forums (surf, trucks, dogs, etc.). so since he's the one that got me started on PW, i'm making some pages private just in case he gets the urge to snoop.
add me if you want to check out the rest...
we just took our engagement pictures over the weekend and our photographer just sent us some teasers. i'm so glad we got a chance to work with him before the big day. we had a great time with him.

It was on a cool, but sunny Saturday in December. The night before FI suggested going out for breakfast the next morning. Duh...food...going out...I was all over that. So we get up the next morning...rather he gets up first which usually only happens when he wants to surf. I heard him walking around and finally he just wakes me up so we could get going. I LOVE to sleep. But before we could eat...we had to take the dogs out. We always have to take the dogs out, but I love 'em! We usually go to Golden Gate Park, but that day he wanted to go to the Sutro Baths. We started on a walk along the path down to the cliffs. While walking over to the cliffs, Abby (our youngest...less than a year old at the time) almost jumps over the wall of the lookout! Thank god I had a tight grip on the leash and pulled her down from the ledge. I looked over the ledge...it's a straight drop down to the Pacific! Probably not what FI had in mind. So continuing on, FI kept stopping along the way...but finally we get to the cliffs. He brought the camera so we were taking pics of each other. It was a new camera....and he recently got into a picture frenzy. After I take the last pic of FI, he walks over and gets down on one knee. This is it! His hand and voice are shaking, but he manages to ask THE question; "will you marry me?" I knew it was coming, but was still completely overwhelmed...and of course I say YES!
The Sutro Baths is a special place for us. We had our first date at The Cliff House close by. Although The Cliff House has been completely renovated since that first day, it will forever be our place.
To say I am a procrastinator is an understatement. I have been engaged since December 2008, but after booking the ceremony and reception sites and the photographer (in October 2009)...I didn't do anything for a few months. I mean nothing! However, we did buy a home during that time, so that's my excuse. :-) And the only reason I started looking at PW was because of my lovely FI. He had a friend who was getting married and his future bride was on PW religiously. Thank goodness! I love this site!
So here I am....finally updating my bio.
To be continued...
