Project: Ruffle Swap
Hey! We are Project:Ruffle Swap an online consignment shop (http://ruffleswap.com). We help girls across the U.S. "swap" gently-used bridesmaid dresses. Girls can clean out their closets and make some of the money spent on dresses when they sell with us. Posting is always free and we actually work to sell your dress.
You can also be a confident "green" bridesmaid when you buy gently-used. Many dresses are only worn once for a few hours. Some are never even worn at all. And most of these dresses are so new, they are still being sold full price on the manufacturers website!
SAM & BETH, owners
We are really excited to be a part of this website. We are sisters that are both recently engaged! And are both planning our weddings for Oct 2010! Beth on the 2nd and Sam on the 31st! So besides being vendors here we are also searching for info/recommendations and inspiration for our own weddings!
Bethaney earned her BS degree in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University in 2002 and will earn her MBA from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business this spring. Bethaney is an After Sales Product and Process Quality Specialist for a luxury automotive company headquartered in the Washington DC area. She is currently planning her October 2010 wedding.
Sam earned her BA from the University of Delaware in 2000. And later attended school at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC to study Advertising Design. She interned and freelanced at Giorgio Armani’s New York office and is currently an Art Director at the largest advertising agency in Baltimore, MD.
