Hello beautiful brides to be (and wives). I would like to thank each and every one of you who have taking time to encouraging me during these few months that I was active on pw while trying to plan my wedding. Unfortunately I am sad to announce that the wedding has been called off. My fiance and I have decided to part ways due to personal decisions that has affected our relationship. Once again thank you for your support and I wish you all a wonderful and blessed union.

This profile is mostly friends only, so feel free to friend me.

how we met

We met just over three years ago through a mutual friend while attending Florida A&M University. Our encounters were brief, mostly at an on campus collegiate bible study. One day I called up our mutual friend after needing a much needed break from studying to watch a movie. Looking for more people than just him to come over, I told him to bring some friends that we both knew. When everyone arrived, I noticed the quite guy was with him again. Once the movie was over, I decided to start back studying and tried to finish my six page paper that I was already having a writers break on. Getting frustrated I gave up. To my surprised the shy guy offered to read it and suggested some ideas along with another friend of ours. Before I knew it, I reach my length requirement with their help. Later the next day I found him on Facebook and told him how much I appreciate him for his help. Before long, we were communicating on Facebook everyday. As we got to know each, we found out we had a lot in common and started hanging out more often. We have been pretty much inseparable ever since.

the proposal

My fiance popped the question on May 24, 2009 at my Grandparent's home. We were have our many talks about the future and what we wanted out of life. As we talked he said he wanted to spend his life with me and asked if I would marry him. At first I thought it was a joke and wasn't sure if I heard him correctly, so I had him repeat himself. When he did, I couldn't help by smile and jump on him, saying 'yes'. A few days later, we went to my grandmother's grave and shared the news with her and asked her to watch over us as we embarked on this journey of marriage.
