Got a question for me? Ask away! I'll answer anything. Need baking tips? Want to know where I bought those sassy BM dresses? Or even if you just want to shoot the sh!t with me. I'm up for it all. ((:

My dad's speech was about a parent surrendering their providing role as they watch their child grow up. He said things like "when your child learns how to feed themself, you surrender your role of providing nourishment." "when your child learns to drive, you surrender your role of taking them where they need to go." "when your child moves out on their own, you surrender your role to providing a home for them." "when your child choose's to marry, you surrender your role of being the only person they love." "And when they do get married, you surrender your serif to another person." Yes, my dad called me a SERIF.
Matt's bestfriend welcomed me to the family. My sister said she looked up to me.
Our Thank You speech thanked our parents, my mom for forcing me to walk across the street to introduce myself to Matt, my dad for doing an amazing job on the venue's remodel, the fire dept. for being an incredible extended family...
And then... he did it...
He told everyone that WE "agreed" that the BoSox were better than the Yankees.
And then I grabbed the mic. And informed everyone he was full of BS.
This is where I presented my toss bouquet to my bestfriend. She has survived cancer twice in her life and is only 26.
Here is my speech:
Because I love you dearly and because you are one of the strongest women I know, instead of tossing my bouquet, I want to give it to you. You are an exceptional woman. You are beautiful inside and out. You have been through so much in your 26 years and fought through it all. You are a survivor. And you are my bestfriend. You are so deserving of all that is good in this world. I am so blessed to have you in my life.
I Love You bestie!
