Hello and Welcome!
I'm Autumn and have been married to my wonderful husband James for a little over a year now.
Already married, you ask?
I'd tell you the long version, but it's....well...just too damn long.
The short version goes:
James and I married in November of 2008, so that when he was reassigned to South Korea (yes, an army man) I would be able, legally as his spouse, to join him. We absolutely did not want to be apart and figured that when we came back to the states we could easily plan an intimate vow renewal/reception to celebrate and unite our families.
So now, after a year spent in South Korea, we are calling Tennesse home and beginning the grueling process of setting a date, planning a reception and figuring out whether or not to accommodate our southern guests or our northern guests. Lol.
Our inspiration for our little gathering is Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass.
Let me be clear...NOT the Disney version and NOT the Tim Burton version coming out in March. Lol.
James and I are very particular about the look and feel for our wedding-redo, but we feel, why not?
It's our day and coming out of OUR pockets. So we delight in the fact that we can be as picky as we want.
(No negotiations with aggressive parents or dealing with groomsmen and bridesmaids!)
I hope you take a look through the pictures we've posted and let us know what you think, if you have any ideas yourselves, tips, hints...you name it!
