My mom and I took a half day off from work on 04.01.10 and went to Houston in search of "the one". The very first dress I tried on - I fell in love. Of course you keep trying on other dresses just to make sure. I liked a couple (especially the one with the pockets) but I eventualy I put the first dress back on and I knew. I love it. It was perfect for my beach wedding. It is Alfred Angelo stlye 2007.

This dress in all ivory with no train I changed my mind...I want the small train :)

We are going away to Sandals Regency St. Lucia. It will just be me and him. We are both the type of person who doesn't like to stand in front of a large crowd and have all the attention on them. I checked and double checked with our parents that they were alright with it just being the 2 of us and they reassured us - they were all okay with it.

We will be staying in the Honeymoon Conceirge Grande Luxe Beachfront Walkout room from August 17-24. Getting married on the 21st. I am so excited. We have never taken a vacation - let alone something on this scale!

Since we are having a DW - we are throwing a HUGE reception after we return. It will be held in our my moms backyard. We were lucky enough to have someone in the family own a rental shop and let us borrow two smaller white tents, all tables, and all chairs.

We are using banquet tables with the dark navy blue tablecloths that I bought from www.linentablecloth.com and scored a great deal with a coupon code. I would highly recommend them.

I am renting centerpieces from a lady a few towns over. They are the crystal trees with the clear crystals and she is incorporating the navy blue crystals as well. The braches are silver as well as the base. We are even getting one that is 5ft. That's almost as tall as me!! I've searched online and can't find a tree that compares to hers. I found her at a local bridal show and booked her right then!

And tons of white paper lanterns that I bought from www.lunabazaar.com. They weren't the cheapest I found but they had all my sizes in stock and the quality seems great.

Flowers - At first I was wanting white hydrangeas, but then after researching I can get 275 more stems of white roses for 3.62 cheaper. So Reception colors scheme photo 5white roses it is.
