This is my favorite idea for BM dresses: a mix and match of two colors. My fav so far are the Alfred Angelo dresses with shrimp and peach colors, but these will cost me about 150 per BM (and I have 3).
So I asked a family friend to make the dresses for us. The great thing is that I have a huge variety of fabric to choose from, and save a bunch on these dresses!

I went down to the Hacienda and picked out everything... from the lining of cake to the color of linen.
My tables will have black on the bottom and white on the top, with peach-colored napkins. Since it's a garden setting, I think the color will really stand out. =)
The only problem seems to be the bridesmaid dresses. There aren't that many in peach.....

It was freshman year in college, and I started writing journals online. The journals were mostly emotional rants that made sense to nobody. But one day I got a friend request from him, and we started chatting....
He lived in Canada and I lived in California. We're about 1500 miles apart, and he's only read my journals. He kept saying he fell in love with me for my writing, but I never believed him (who would?)
We became really close friends (mostly because he was trying really hard) for 3 years, phoning and webcamming, and I really started to like him. The only thing was that I had a boyfriend back then, and didn't want to mess anything up. So he gradually faded into the background and resorted to occasional "How are you doing?" on the messenger.
2 more years passed and I was on the verge of breaking up with the bf. Suddenly he came back and we started talking again. He said he just wanted to tell me, he's still loved me all this time and it didn't matter anymore how I felt. He was happy enough that I knew (it's the sweetest thing ever.) All my feelings for him came rushing back, and I just couldn't let them pass by the second time.
We met in person for the first time in 2007, after 5 years of friendship. The chemistry was the best thing I've ever felt in my life, and he believed that I was his dream girl coming alive.
So we got engaged and I moved to Canada to find a job. We've lived together for several months now and I've never been happier.
Our wedding is set to be Sept 2008.
