So, originally I wanted to do a vintage glam theme, but changed it to a rustic vintage them to keep my budget down. Also, my venue is a rustic cabin on a lake, so the rustic theme just fits better. For colors, I am using dark brown and ivory with pops of gold and deep red. Our wedding is in Oct so I think the rich colors will be fitting to the time of year.
I'm a shoe lover, so deciding on a single pair of shoes is going to kill me. Also, my fiance is over a foot taller than me so Im going to need to go for some exta height. I am in love with these Nina Electra shoes, but they're a little pricey. I am hoping I can find some with vintage style to them to go with the dress
I just found these puppies online and they are a strong contender - Caparros Joelle. I was planning on 3" heels and these are 4", so I don't know how long I will last in them. But they sure are purdy!
We've chosen a vintage theme for our wedding. We're aiming for old Hollywood, circa 1920-1940. The guest list is short, around 80 people, so I am hoping I can pull this off by doing a lot of diy projects. The colors I am thinking about are a rich chocolate brown, sage green, and ivory.
I immediately knew I wanted a vintage styled wedding. One of the first things I decided on was an all lace gown, but my budget really limited my options. I went shopping with my bm and ended up buying a gown on sale that day. It is a beautiful gown but when I got it home I was heartbroken. It wasn't the dress of my dreams: Allure couture C155. Since then, I have decided to have Milly make a replica. I hope it turns out beautiful!
