My Husband and I .... (still love saying that!)
Here are my AMAZING bridesmaids:
... my MOH Natalie and I at her own wedding (both teary eyed at the end of the night!!) (my oldest friend!!)
This is the very mischieveous Danielle and I! We have so much fun together...too much possibly!! x
Then there is me and Martine, I love this girl to death she makes me me laugh soooo much!!! x
This is Debs, my 'newest' buddy, have known her for around six years and she is engaged to Martin's (FI's) best man, Patrick. We have the best couples nights outs and in and I love them both dearly! I am also Debbie's bridesmaid in 2012 :)
...and finally my darling little cousin Emma, we've been through ALOT together and so happy to have her as part of my Big Day <3
oh oh oh...and my cutest little flower girl, our (Martin's really but I say she's mine!!) niece Rebecca...
she will be 5 when we get married... xxxx
One last shout out, to all my girls, wish I could have them all as my maids, our wee gang has been going strong for many many years now and I do feel truly blessed to have such a great group of girls in my life. Here we all are at Natalie's (MOH) wedding (this is a non-pro by the way, so no-one's really looking!):
Well ladies, not only do you U.S.A brides actually get 4 seasons in a year (as opposed to Scotland's 4 seasons in a day) you also have the most wonderful choice of wedding venues I have seen!! I do absolutely adore our venue but must confess after we took into consideration our guest numbers (around 150 for the meal and another 100 at night) space wise our choice was very limited! I think I tried almost every venue in Scotland and turned my nose up at many a tartan carpet (not all Scot's like tartan!!!) before settling for this one! It's very pretty, set in lovely grounds next to the racecourse and also in very close proximity to the beach (where we plan to take pictures).
So here it is...The Western House Hotel...
Just some pics although these are stolen from my friends bogs etc as I just bought a new laptop and haven't transferred our photo's onto it yet!! Some from a friends wedding and others at home in Scotland...
...more to come from our travels around europe!!
...us in Ibiza xx
***LADIES, I'M SETTING MY PROFILE TO PRIVATE TODAY, GETTING NERVOUS THAT GUESTS MAY LOG ON AND SEE ALL OF MY (YOUR!!!!) IDEAS SO IF YOU WANNA SEE THE REST PLEASE ADD ME AS A FRIEND, THE MORE THE MERRIER!! :)
Hello ladies! Can I begin by saying how amazed I am by all the beatiful bio's and weddings...getting so many fabulous ideas and hope to have mine up to scratch soon. My fiance (Martin) and I are from Scotland, just outside Glasgow. A bit far away from y'all but I'm sure your idea's will transfer perfectly to our wedding...
Well, I'm new to all this, so I suppose the best place to start is at the start!!
How we met...
Girl meets boy, boy makes girl laugh (ALOT), they become friends...they fall in love...
and that's pretty much it.
Martin was a mutual friend of mine and in 2005 our paths began to cross quite a bit. All I remember of him is that I always had a great time when he was around (as he was a bit mad!). He always made me laugh and quite gradually we became good friends. He used to do sweet things like take me home in a taxi from nights out we were on together to make sure I was 'home safe' but I never once thought he might have feelings for me and so tried to supress my own! I'll never forget the night our whole crowd of friends attended a huge open-air Oasis concert, we were laughing and joking with each other all night, Martin hosted an after-party at his flat, which I embarassingly left my purse at. The next morning I went back to get it and found him asleep on the sofa. I was so embarassed that I planned to take a cab home right away but we started chatting and minutes just melted into hours, he made us breakfast and hours later we were still there, sitting on the sofa, under a duvet with me looking a complete mess! I got to see a completely different side to the boy I thought I knew. The joker turned out to be thee most sweetest boy I have ever met and ever will. From that day on we were pretty much inseparable, we just clicked and I truly believed he was my perfect match. Five years on and I still do!
