If you are looking for a photographer that has a photojournalist/documentary style, this is your photographer. I did not want to be bothered with "must take" shot lists, nor constantly having to smile for a camera. My husband isn't the most comfortable in front of a camera either so I knew we needed someone to capture the days events as they unfolded naturally. Gabe and his assistant were fun to work with. He shot the day as it was happening with no cheesy grins or gimmicks. His motto is to act natural and not pretend, be real. The pictures were beautiful and very hard to choose from. He captured our personality quirks, emotions and most of all important memories from our day. Gabe and his assistant did a very good job capturing the ceremony considering there were some limitations set by the church. He also provided beautiful shots of details that brides always love. Turn around time for my proofs was about a month. They came packaged in a beautiful leather box. I would love to work with Gabe in the future if I ever have photography needs again.

Our reception location also served as our caterer. All I can say is WOW! From the start Ruben and staff were a delight to work with. Food was excellent and their wait staff went above and beyond the call of duty. Their pricing is very reasonable. They have such a great attention to detail. All the little things I needed handled, they made sure to take care of. When I arrived to the hall, everything was in place just as it should be. The space is elegant and has a nice neutral decor that will compliment any style of wedding. I did a ribbon pull with the bridesmaids and by mistake my Matron of Honor wrapped her charm in a napkin. To anyone clearing the table, it looked like trash. Well, her charm was gone with the blink of an eye. She talked to one of the servers about her loss and they couldn't find it. At the end of the night, the server had found the charm and cleaned it for her. It was such a nice surprise. I also had on guest arrive after dinner service was complete and to my surprise, they brought food out for him so he wouldn't have to go without. I would love to work with them in the future. Every wedding vendor should be like them.

The bridesmaids and myself were all pleased with our styles and service. Ashley did a wonderful job on my hair and actually thanked me for giving her a challenge. The original hairstyle I wanted was not the typical "prom" style up-do and Ashely liked the challenge of working with something new. Unfortunately for me, I never wear my hair up/back and it gave me a headache so we ended up changing the style to better suit my needs for the day of the wedding. She's a very talented stylist and came up with a style for me that was classy and suited my personality. Navii salon is top notch and offers wonderful service. It's a wonderful place to go for relaxation and pampering.

Cakes by Karen was a wonderful business to work with and I would do business with them again. The cake was flavorful and moist and tasted the same on our 1-year wedding anniversary as it did the day of the wedding. They are very friendly and were great at offering suggestions when I wasn't sure about some of the design choices I had to make.

If I could plan my wedding over again, Kristina Lynn Floral would not be part of my team of vendors. In our meetings, we went over what I wanted for my wedding in great detail. Pictures were provided to show her what I was looking for and I reviewed the contract that listed in detail what I wanted for the order and everything was as it should be. She did not listen to one thing I requested and I was not pleased with the service I received the day of the wedding. This was a fairly small wedding in that I only ordered one arrangement for the hall, 4 bouquets, 2 corsages and 6 boutonnieres. Something was wrong with everything except the boutonnieres. I arrived at the church before she said she would be there to drop the flowers off, but the time for her arrival came and went, no florist was there. Turns out, she arrived earlier and dropped everything off and didn't bother to stick around to make sure I was pleased with everything. My bridesmaid happened to find the flowers at the back of the church. Not only that, she left an arrangement at the church that should have gone to the reception hall and later tried to blame me for that mishap. I was highly disappointed in this considering my wedding was a Friday wedding and she said she only did one wedding on Fridays. If that's the case, there was no reason for her not to stick around and make sure everything was ok and where it needed to be, nor should she have dropped the ball about the arrangement. I always referred to the hall arrangement as the placecard table arrangement in our conversations and she tries to tell me later that it was a misunderstanding on both our parts. Since I was paying $30 in delivery fees, I made sure to confirm where the items were to be delivered in our final meeting and she couldn't get that right. The bridesmaid bouquets were not the correct size and looked nothing like the picture I gave her. I picked seasonal flowers to keep costs down, yet she used more greenery and filler pieces than flowers in the bouquets which I did not want. The main flowers for these should have been roses and dahlias and there was only one rose in each and the kermit poms and green berries made up most of the arrangement and those were strictly pieces that were meant to be small pops of color and filler and she made those the central piece of the arrangement. I also splurged on green orchids that were $10 a piece and she went on and on how that needed to be a focal point of the bouquet since they were so much and she ended up putting them on the bottom of the arrangement, not front and center like she said she would do. The sizes of these bouquets were slightly larger than what a bride's toss bouquet is and she charged around $30 each for the bouquets. Two dozen roses from Costco would have made for a bigger bouquet and been much cheaper. My bouquet was so simple that I'm still not sure how it got messed up. I requested two kinds of red roses and red orchids. I explained to her that if she could not get the orchid in red, not to use it at all because I hated the pink version. As it happens, the grower could not supply the red version, only the pink version and she went ahead and used them anyway. Not only that, she also decided to add flowers to the bouquet that we never discussed. She later explained to my Matron of Honor that she thought it was ok and necessary to do so, to make everything cohesive. We met twice and spoke on the phone, why didn't she bring this up in our meetings and why didn't she call me when putting everything together with that idea and run it past me? Her creative ad lib gave my bouquet a very different look and feel, one that I was not envisioning when planning my details. I saw her in person and spoke to her on the phone the day she received the flowers for my wedding and she never once told me the orchids were the wrong color or bothered to speak to me about the changes she felt she needed to make to my bouquet design. The reception hall arrangement design was nothing we discussed. I didn't appreciate her arguing with my Matron of Honor when she called her to tell her how unhappy I was with the product and service, nor do I appreciate having to contact the Better Business Bureau to get some of my money back from this vendor due to her lack of action to make things right. Poor attention to detail (vendor did not get my name correct in mailed correspondence), poor service, and poor attitude. When I tried to get money back for part of the delivery charges, since she botched that, she wasn't having it and basically told me what was the big deal with her messing up what pieces went where, when they were still delivered on time. The only reason I gave this vendor 2 stars is because the flowers themselves were pretty (not the designs by the florist) and that is because of the grower, not her. If I could do this again, I would have paid a little more for a better vendor. Do yourself a favor and go to a real shop and don't bother trying to save money by working with someone that works out of their home.
