Here are some of my favorite inspiration boards!
I love this peach and green look from my friend Katie Moos!
We now have a letterpress printing studio, Sugar Plum Invitations. It's located in San Luis Obispo, just north of Santa Barbra. It’s a creative outlet for design, printing and networking. We love our three vintage letterpresses! Each piece is handprinted, one color at a time! We now have a wedding blog, "She Walks in Beauty". It's super fun and I enjoy printing for Sugar Plum!
Next thing you know we’re off on a surprise honeymoon, which took us to LA, then Disneyland and finally LAX. It was there, before boarding a shuttle to the terminal that Troy declared, “We’re going to Tahiti!” I couldn’t believe it! We spent nine days in Bora Bora, snorkeling daily, feasting on French food and fresh pineapple. The water is so warm and clear, and the fish were brightly colored like the movie “Finding Nemo”.
January began with a surprise proposal, in which I (Becky) believed we were stranded at the beach with a car that wouldn’t start. It was an elaborate plan to get me up on the bluffs at sunset, on our one year anniversary (one year from having met) only to have Troy drop on one knee. Surprise! We went back to Troy’s house, where an engagement party had been planned.
The wedding in Cambria was beautiful, we were so afraid it would be cold and windy, but we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The day before, the bridesmaids dressed me up in bright pink and took me to a local restaurant for brunch! Later, after the rehearsal, we invited out of town guests to dessert and singing at the beach and had a chance to talk to people before the wedding. All eleven of Troy’s nieces and nephews, (under 10 years old) walked down the aisle with their parents, they were so precious!
Cory, Troy’s good friend and past roommate officiated the service. Troy’s mom and uncle sang, and what only seemed like moments, was all over in a blur.
